or, from a different angle, who would benefit from easy access to the mall? that would be those who could most benefit...and i doubt that they see the need. what else is there to do in the daytime?

The one next to the swiss chalet is smaller and has not sold out. Most of the condo's never fill up or even get built.

Who will pay huge prices to have an apartment on a hoe strip, especially the street known as BLOW ROAD. No one with a wife. Even a girlfriend. Would you want every time she steps out the door every guy naturally is going to thinking she is a bar girl and fair game. You definitely wouldn't want kids growing up in that area. Blow road no less.

Bars are one thing. A lot are nothing but money laudering places. Do you really think Alantis can turn a profit with 800 girls working everyday. And that huge Electricity bill to keep that building as cold as it is. It doesn't get that crowded with customers.

I've done this a couple of times without problems. I'd say it depends on the bar and the girl. Some are more trustworthy than others.

Well we all know that it's pussy that makes possible all these new AC erections, so to speak. But what baffles me is the larger Philippine economy. The place seems like a basket case, but you go over to SM Mall and the parking lot is filled with shiny new cars and everyone is well dressed and buying $100 Nikes and $500 cellphones. There's an affluent middle class here but I've never quite figured out what supports it. (A whole lot of poor people, maybe.)

Anyhow I think we can all agree that we are playing a vital role in the economic stimulation of the place. Just last night I distributed a considerable amount of overseas development assistance in La Bamba, Gecko's, Lollipop, and King of Diamonds, and a special grant to a dancer from Champagne. All the balikbayans working in various countries in various jobs are sending the money to support families at home. Thats what buys the car and phones and Nikes. The economy is dependant on these remittances which make up their third largest source of income. Indeed the strenth of the peso is totally linked to the amount of remittances.

And the guys who have no jobs and hang around on street corners drinking beer playing pool, . Well they are the ones living off their wives who are domestic helpers in HK and Singapore. The wives of course think they are sending money home to buy school books for the kids etc.

Only when they get home leave at end of first year overseas do they realise Useless Husband spent it all on beer gambling and pussy. Then the wives cut the husband off and send money to their parents.

Ask every maid in HK and she will tell you the same story.

Yup. This is a country in which the ten percent who work abroad support the ninety percent who shop for cell phones. If the US/UK/Australian/Middle East markets for cheap labor ever dry up, the economy here would implode faster than a cracked TV screen. Other than unskilled and semi-skilled labor, this place produces nothing but fruits, fish, veggies and other agriculture products plus assembled electronics for Intel, Texas Instruments and other US firms that have set up plants here.

A few basic questions about Clark Airport. I am taking a few days off from work to visit Angeles sometime in July. It will be my first trip there in 3.5 years, I heard lots have changed.

Will be flying Cebu Pacific from Macao and land in Clark. My first landing in Clark. I would like to know if there is a currency exchange in this tiny airport? I guess need to change some money for transport to Fields and also pay first night hotel.

And also what kind of transport they have from Clark to Fields Ave? Is it quite far?

Sorry to ask this stupid question (to some).

I was with this chick and we were doing the deed. I lasted 3 times in the afternoon. 1pm. 5pm or so. She was saying some can go for 6-7 times! I find it hard to believe as after 3 times. What actually comes out? : P
