Pattaya Reports

I went to Pattaya January 2024 on another business trip and stayed a 2 weeks this time. Here is a report.

Walking Street; starts around 8 pm on weekends 9 pm other days. Good for drinks and a lot of beautiful ladys on poles. Take home only. Prices are high.

Soi 6; starts around 4 pm and is the best deal around. Best for drinking and hanging out; and or a quick 30 min to 1 hour lay upstairs, no rush. Not good for take home before 11 pm / midnight. Price is 400 bahts to use the room upstairs. Standard price for ladies short time (up to 1 hour) is 1,000 bhats however some girls have started asking for more. If you negotiate before hand they will usually say 1,500 or 2,000 and then you have to talk it down to 1,000-1,500 which is a waste of time. Instead, just ask the girl to go upstairs, then give her what you want afterwards. The stsndard price is 1,000 mininum, so anything else is a tip and cannot be enforced. The mamasan will be on your side. Its always uncovered BJ. There are usually 500-800 girls working each night so you can find everything from a 3-9 in looks. If the girl likes you, you will get a GFE experience.

BJ Bars; starts around 1-3 pm and is the cheapest you will find. Girls are not very attractive (3-6) but there is usually one or two per bar that are 7+ in looks with the occasional 8 if you are lucky. Price is only 800 bahts for a BJ and 1,000-1,200 bahts for sex including the bar fine. Its always uncovered BJ, cum in mouth, but they all seem to spit.

Other Areas; most of the other areas are for lonely guys looking for company and a longer GFE experience and company to talk, drink, and play pool or games with. Most of these places have older, less attractive ladies and are more expensive than Soi 6, but cheaper than Walking Street.

Winner; by far is Soi 6 for the low price, great value, ease of being able to go anytime in the day before late night, being able to go upstairs and not back to your hotel, and the ability to choose through hundreds of women to find your type. I have had genuine 8's and even a 9 there for 1,000 bahts and many GF type expereinces. The only problem is that some girls are starting to ask for and expecting 2 x the money. I don't know of a better value in the world for price or ease of going before night than soi 6 and athens, Greece.

Soi 6 is fun but I don't see it as a particularly cheap place any more.

Also what are some other affordable transport options.[/QUOTE]LOL yea they forget to tell you that you'll pay a huge amount for a baht bus although you can probably grab a bolt taxi these days. On my first and last bus trip baht bus wanted 300 baht to flipper house hotel from pattaya klang stop, I walked. Now I call arrange a taxi from airport much easier little more expensive plus no waiting 30 to 60 minutes for bus.

For me it's not as bad as people are making it out to be. Will you find a top end gogo girl there? Of course not but I've seen Soi 6 much worse than it's been these past few week. Are there lots of girls? Yes. Some bars mainly the Nightwish ones the girls are standing 3 deep so for guys who walk down Soi 6 bitching there are no girls do you actually walk in to every bar like I do? No idea how you guys see ALL the girls in a bar by doing a fly by. I have found some gems. One of the best ones I saw says she hides in the back since she doesn't want to be on YouTube.

Are they asking 3000 as been reported here? Hell no. I guess if you come across as someone who doesn't know the game then yes you will be quoted 3 k. Girls are asking 1500 with a couple wanting 2000 but once you give them a look it quickly comes down to 1500. If guys are waiting for a top end Soi 6 girl to grab them on the street and make gaga eyes with you Soi 6 has definitely changed in that regard. That stuff just doesn't happen any more. If you see a girl just grab her. She will light up. Are DFK, lap dances, or a HJ standard after you buy them a drink? Sadly no. On the positive I have spent very little on lady drinks on Soi 6 this trip and still get the attention from the girls I want attention from.

On a side note I notice that almost every single car driving down the Soi now has a GoPro or cell phone on their windshield. No idea why if you want to see Soi 6 girls just watch YouTube. Also notice a lot of cops driving down Soi 6 too. A few on foot too.

All I know is that I have exhausted all the tourist traps like WS, Soi 6, Nana, Cowboy etc. After awhile, it gets redundant and boring with the same game. Occasionally, I will venture those parts for a non alcoholic drink or two and to say "Hi" to old friends, guys and gals. The thrill isn't there anymore.

During lockdown, got brave and jumped online with the local market for girls. Ran the table there. And then just after COVID, I got even braver and stepped into the all Thai venues like 35 Dara. Girls were more than willing to accept my baht from a non-Thai for fun and pleasure. Now apparently, the Chinese and Koreans have followed my lead and are a step ahead of the rest. A trip north is in the plan.

Times are changing. I suggest we all adapt.

It is good to finally get a view of Soi 6 that is balanced, and which matches what I saw and felt there last September.

The gloom and doom merchants bemoaning the loss of earlier times had had far too much to say.

Hi all,

Been to Bangkok and planning to return. I see conflicting info regarding Pattaya. Prefer girl next door looks but wondering if the travel to there is worth it or just spend my entire time in BKK? Not sure I see the value in traveling there? Open to your feedback. I would like to see more of the country but also enjoy myself.
