Visited Golden Springs in Maunkau recently and was disappointed by both the number (2) and quality of the girls. Does anyone out there know of an establishment with quality Asian ladies?

Of course I've visited Thailand and am suffering the usual withdrawl symptoms now I'm back in the rainy NZ winter!

WOW! That brings back memories from years ago. I had visited the old Pacific Sauna (now gone) in K Road in about 1997 or earlier. It was a real dump but it did have a sauna and a spar, if they turned it on it time. I was having a drink in the lounge and all the girls suddenly ran out the back door. In the front came police and immigration. They spent the next hour going over the place and all they found were some small bags with condoms & lubricants in hem. I think we had to gie our names and we all said we hadn't seen the girls. almost all the girls working there were Thai and probably most didn't have work permits. Some may have been in the country illegally, I don't know. But they didn't have many good looking younger girls, some old fat and ugly in my opionion. But back in 1975, it was a great place where you could get real massage.

Saturday afternoon. I was thinking maybe Chinese today so I went to A Salon in the AA building. After waiting for a while, a Chinese lady appeared. She was mid-40s or there abouts and rather weathered and sagged. She instructed me to go with her for a massage. I rudely asked to see the other girls first. I could hear them cackling out back so they were definitely there, but 40s lady insisted that there were no other ladies present and that I go with her immediately. She was insistent to point of grabbing and pulling. I broke free and escaped. We live in the age of the consumer and consumerism is about having choice and an experience we would want to repeat. This message does not seem to have got across at some Auckland brothels.

Off to Femme Fatale. Two or three girls on duty but none particularly stood out. I sat down and ordered an orange juice ($3) from the very nice Maori girl behind the bar. Why is that the really pretty ones are on bar duty? In walks a very tall thin girl. Early 20s. Striking looks. She sits down next to me. She's about six feet tall jacked up an extra two inches by high heels. She says her name is Storm. Working girls, especially the ones with limited schooling, do pick some odd pseudonyms. I had a Cleopatra once. Handed over the $180 at reception. A storm she was not. She lay there like a plank, eyes closed, while I missionaried. Not so much as a fake groan of pleasure either. If it had been taped it could serve as an instructional video on boring sex. Admittedly, I'm not much into GFE and wild interaction, so I didn't really mind, but it might put off a lot of guys. She's not much of a conversationalist either. She asked me if I had an Asian bride and mowed my own lawns. My impression is that she is a product of West Auckland.

Femme Fatale is a classy place. Clean rooms, high-pressure hot shower, newish almost soft towels. All the trappings you could want in a brothel. Its certainly the best place in town.

Also been to FF and Emily's and Monica's a few times in the last six months so will briefly sum up experiences.

Two visits to Emily's. One on a Saturday afternoon. Had a Christchurch girl called Elle who is a semi-pro who comes up to Auckland to make some extra cash but does not work in Christchurch. She looked great at first -- at least an 8 on my personal rating scale. Then the clothes came off and the horror was revealed. Implants. They looked gross and it felt like she had two rocks embedded in her chest. Awful. I can't understand why a woman would want to disfigure herself like that.

Then Emily's again one week night. Not much on offer, but there was a very pleasant-looking and very slim PI girl that I got talking to over a drink and was about to go with until she asked me what I did for a living. The horrors she must perpetrate daily in the name of caring. It was disturbing and completely put me off her. Exited, did some distressing and went off to Femme Fatale.

Much better selection there. Went with a lovely Chinese girl called Kari who was one week off the plane from Beijing and spoke with an American accent acquired from watching Hollywood movies. Great body, nice firm breasts and, rare these days, a full bush. I like things organic. I simply don't understand shaved or enhanced. Kari is highly intelligent. We had a lengthy discussion about linguistics. But the brush with the psych nurse had unsettled me too much. I needed a vigorous HJ to finish. Not her fault. I think Kari had a very sore arm after. What a waste. I should have left it for another night.

Also went to Monica's one Saturday afternoon. Just the one girl on offer. $180 cash. Very nice, too. I couldn't quite make out her ethnicity. Spurred by kiwidude's post I thought I'd try Salon 28, a Chinese massage establishment in the building next to the Catholic Theological College in Ponsonby Rd. I haven't been there before. After going in, I observed a nervous and intense Chinese man in hushed conversation with the receptionist. He then sat down, scratched his chin while lost deep in thought for a couple of minutes, then he rose and scurried over to the receptionist for more hushed conversation. I got the impression that he was asking for a guarantee of double plus good experience or money back. Good luck, I thought.

I just asked to see the girls. This took some time while the Chinese man continued negotiations, but eventually they arrived. I think there were seven or eight in total. They appeared each for just a second or two at an entrance, some bowing, then quickly disappeared while the receptionist checked off their names. Some were small and plump and some were tall and plump and a couple were just right. The Chinese man scurried over to announce his winner. I'm no good with Chinese names so I had to ask for girls 3 to 5 to repeat because my choice was somewhere in that range but I couldn't remember her name. It turned out to be Water which I don't think is even Chinese. She was my type -- slim, delicate, small breasts and tight butt.

The bit I didn't like about Salon 28 is the locker system. You are taken to a locker room, strip and put all your clothes in a padlocked locker. You attach the key to your wrist with a rubber band, proceed to the shower and then to the room that matches your key number. Its all a bit tacky and cheap. The room itself is bare except for a single-sized bed with a fluids-proof cover. Not at all posh and sumptuous like Femme Fatale or Monica's

Here in California, there really isn't. The last establishment with European women was shut down about 4 years ago. It's Asian or nothing here.

In the opinion of this service user these have added to the market rather than chased out the European or driven down prices and standards. Other service users may have opposing views, but I have no trouble finding what I want and the choice is certainly wider than it used to be. If you want a blonde its no trouble finding one and at the same price as quality Asian.

Prostitution is legal in New Zealand, so its an open market and the market generally delivers what is demanded. Its almost a repectable career choice nowadays. At a rough guestimation, I'd say at least half or maybe more in the mainstream brothels like Femme Fatale in Auckland are European. Maybe that would be higher in Wellington and Christchurch. But its a global business, you can all types here -- Brazillian, African, Polynesian.

But Asians tend to be in the minority in most of the places I still feel e.g. Pelican CLub yesterday: Bridgette (30s brunette, busty); Jordan (late 20s blonde); Emma (mid-20s busty brunette); Jenna (early 20s brunette); Kari (late 20s brunette) and a couple of others whose names I didn't get.

Massage 8 advertises Chinese girls. The Golden Pool is also Chinese and looks from the outside to be quite substantial and upmarket.

There's also the Long Life next door at 30 Airdale. I once popped my head in the door and wasn't very impressed with the solitary dozing, weathered Thai available.
