Gentlemen,
I don't know if this will work for everyone, but what I did to solve the police problem was to phone a certain provider and have her meet me in a hotel. It was a provider I had used before. We rented a small motel for 30, 000 won and had ST. She asked me to come by the club, but I told her if she wanted to meet me it had to be somewhere else and she responded. She also brought her sister (who she said was her twin, but turned out was not).
My suggestion would be to get the number from a provider who you enjoy and lay low for a while until this police thing blows over. Many of us have too much to lose if we get caught in one of the establishments.
I had dinner in Yongsan and decided to stop by and have a look on my way back to my hotel. Nearly all the places on the "A" row were open and most of the ones on the "B" row too. Business was brisk, maybe as a result of crackdowns in other areas.
IMHO, 90% of the girls in the "B" rows are not doable. In fact, I bumped into another foreign punter and we walked around wondering if anybody actually does some of the really old ones. For a change, one of the girls on the "A" row offered, but insisted on a CBJ so I passed.
I ended up with the standard service including BBBJ and CFS for 60k on one of the "B" rows. She was a 30+ but still in relatively good shape and the service was better than average.
A nice quick fix to the end of an evening.

Every now and then, I try to check some of the more interesting things on the Adult FF site. However, it appears the Korean net police are cracking down on it now as well. When I try to open the site, a Korean notice with the police symbol pops up instead. It has links in it that lead you to the Korean Communications Standards Commission web site. The entire thing is in Korean, with no links for an English version of the site. I can only guess that the Koreans are once again trying to improve their image to the politicians around the world, like America's President Bush, that are pushing the anti-prostitution agenda. Hopefully they don't consider doing the block on here.
Stay out of trouble!
Happy Mongering (maybe not in Korea)!

Sad to hear that stories about crackdown.
However Yesterday Saturday night, passed the hill (not on mongering mission) and saw the hill in normal operation. The providers may be more selective how they approach customers, but it doesn't affect none Asians. Better: the none Asians are way less suspicious to be an undercover agent.
Still the safest way is to score with 'freebees'. Plenty around, but you need to turn your charm out and score and your efforts can end in hit or miss with somehow bad to predict. I wrote about this earlier.
I was in several normal clubs in Itaewon yesterday and also in JJ's (Disco in Hyatt hotel). JJ's has more female then male guests around (60:40?). Mostly two girls join, but also some single. They are open minded at least to talk almost to everybody and get to know new people and if you have remained some general attitude and are not too pushy in the beginning you may score.
Again: it’s rather unpredictable and your approaching efforts of some hours can evaporate later and you may feel wasted time. But that’s life to be accepted. You may also score from time to time. Remember: Half the fun is the hunt.
Strategy in JJ's is to try to change locations as soon as females feels more comfortable due to the high drink prices. A few drinks invested in a girl (mostly its in 2 girls to serve) easy exceed the cost of a 1/2 h fuck at the hill easily with a none predictable outcome.
So far freebees. As we all know the freebee (when it finally happens) scored will be from a business case standpoint more expensive then the quick fuck in exchange of money, even if the deed itself is free.
Doing the hunt in the environment of JJ's (advantage there: better girl selection/ opportunities) is expensive, but down in Itaewon at the cheaper clubs will way lower the cost, but girls quality average is lower and you may have to discount your going Rate (lets say in JJ's 7-9 rate should be doable, but in Itaewon a 6 may need to be accepted to have success at all, as the 8-10's are hunted from all and are way more selective.).
Unfortunately with this crack environment it became more difficult for short term visitors to score. The freebee option is due to is success rate more something for residents and when you see which type of couples found each other there remains hope that chram and attitude brings you far more then just looks.
Happy hunting.
Didn’t read any report here yet from other freebee hunters, even if I see plenty around. Am I the only ISG’ler who hunts freebees in Seoul?
Happy hunting.

I cannot stress this enough: NEVER USE YOUR CREDIT CARDS WHEN PAYING FOR SERVICES. Stop by an ATM and and get cash beforehand. I think the businesses prefer it, and it could save you 10,000 Won or so in some cases.
My colleague advised me that his good friend went for some fun at an anma over in busan recently, only to be called the next day by police since he used a credit card for the transaction. He was not fined but merely warned and told that his actions will be closely monitored.
Still, despite the numerous crackdowns, there are still a large number of venues that seem invulnerable to this, whether they are located in kangnam or kangbuk.
The hill may be the safest place to monger during the crackdown, which according to the article below will be finish at the end of the month.

South Korean police make no arrests in prostitution crackdown raid
SEOUL — South Korean police raided clubs on Itaewon’s Hooker Hill on Tuesday night as part of a nationwide crackdown on prostitution, but they found "nothing suspicious" and made no arrests, a Yongsan police spokesman said Wednesday.
The spokesman said closed-circuit televisions installed by bar owners on street corners throughout Hooker Hill, an area famed for its prostitution, made it difficult to catch sex offenders. "They can watch us, and all of our movements and steps in advance before we start patrolling the area," he said. Hooker Hill is near U.S. Army Garrison-Yongsan, and most of the clubs are off-limits to U.S. troops.
The South Korean media reported that two 46-year-old South Korean women were sentenced to eight months in prison on Tuesday, the first to be sentenced as part of the crackdown, which began in July and runs through the end of the month. One of the women owned an illegal massage parlor in Dongdaemun, outside the U.S. military’s Camp Red Cloud. She was fined 100 million won, approximately $80,800, for unlawful profits she earned through running the business and acting as a prostitute.
She earned about 20,000,000 won, or $16,000, each month and had five to six customers a day in the past nine months, according to South Korean media reports. The other woman, an employee, was sentenced to 120 hours of social work. Their sentences were suspended for three years. Court officials were unavailable for comment Wednesday.
Yes, they do prefer it. This is because they can avoid paying taxes if you pay in cash. It is often possible to negotiate a small discount if you pay in cash. But of course you need to ask!

Brain666
I go round and round with this question in my head about every two years or so. I recently went on a date with an average filippina last Saturday. We met on FH and after some txt'ing, agreed for a day in Seoul. First impression was she was skinny, very smart, (English professor with Masters in Education), not as good looking as her photos, and well travelled. This was my first real "date" for this calendar year.
We spent the day together, doing lunch, movies, out for drinks and dinner, and finishing up at the Hyatt for coffee and ice cream. I believe I could have closed the deal, but she was not hot enough for me to put any effort into it, and I had to catch the last train home at 10pm. Overall, it was nice to be out with someone intelligent, whom I could share conversation with and understood my stories and jokes. But, at the end of the day, I spent about 120 USD and did not get laid. Not that that is the end all, but a BBBJ is always a nice way to end the date, I think.
To sum it up, I suppose my point is, it is all in how you feel. The hunt is fun, but usually when I do score, I have to deal with the chick for the next few weeks and that is a huge pain in my ass. I had fun the last Saturday, but really overall, I would just rather pay my money, get BBBJ and CFS with a chick who knows what she is doing, and go home and watch football. To me, I think that is a really nice overall arrangement.

Are there massage parlors in Seoul which allow us to choose the masseurs before we make decision?

The second time: John School (Still no record/ no criminal case) some want to get fined instead, but I don't think it's a good idea. The third time: A monetary penalty/fine (A record/ a criminal case)
If you get caught more than 3 times, it will be jail time/ probation.
Even if you don't use your credit card, if your name/cell phone number is/are on their notebooks / reservation books / computers, you will might be in trouble. So, don't use your real name / cell phone number.
I hate to deliver the bad news (again, just like my previous Jang Han Pyung report), but YJG has also joined the crackdown list.
I think it happened recently, since someone below reported that it was open.
Well, I headed there yesterday (Friday night) to see what was happening.
NO SHOPS WERE OPEN. ABSOLUTELY NONE. NO LIGHTS WERE ON AT ALL. The back alleys were all dark too.
This is just an FYI for those of you who were planning to tread over there.
You can't imagine how I felt after having wasted away 3-4 hours of my life traveling there and back, all for nothing...I'm so angry.
Damn, that sucks, and I was about to go there. You saved me a trip.
That said, it could come back to life after this crackdown is over (whenever that is).
previous year, an anma at kangnam (opp. riviera hotel), has 4 poles, now only 2 poles.
seems that raids are effective and mean business.

Where are you getting this information from?
Where are you getting this information from?
Actually, I heard it one of my Korean friends, and I am pretty sure that's a right info. But of course, everything is depends on a case. As I know, even if you think you might go to John school, the prosecutor might punish you with a fine instead or can be the other way.
