According to the Moreima cottages receptionist Kelly Kazungu, Herman's body was lying in a pool of blood while his body had stab wounds on the head and stomach.

According to Njiru, detectives will be looking to unravel the motive behind the killing and to see if they will recover the murder weapon.

According to the Malindi sub-county police boss Vitalis Otieno, the deceased had left Diani on the 4th of December 2019 and traveled to Malindi where he checked into the Moreima cottages.

It is not clear if the suspect who police say was a girlfriend to the deceased was living with him in Diani.

What a week! Let me summarize my week in sex paradise!

Hi all,

I'm about to take my first trip to Africa in 6 weeks. I'll be in Kenya for 10 days (3 in Nairobi, 7 in Mombasa). I've done a lot of research so far, reading every post as far back as Feb 2017. There are definitely a lot of gems to be found in some of these posts. The only thing I haven't been able to settle on is a place to stay.

This is what I'm looking for in order of importance:

- Girl friendly of course, but also with the option of bringing 2 girls at same time.

- Inexpensive <4 k kes.

- Decent wi-fi.

- AC.

- Relatively safe area for day-time walking (will probably only be ubering at night).

- Good location; not too far from most of the action (15 min uber).

- Decent food options within walking distance.

I'm sure I probably won't find all of this in any one place, but I've narrowed it down between these 6 hotels / apartments:

- Cowrie shell.

- Jambo travelers.

- Kahama hotel.

- Merry villas.

- Prestige Leisure.

- Sai rock.

And of those 6, I'm leaning towards Cowrie Shell because it seems to check off all my boxes. What I also like about it is from what I understand, it's possible to avoid the walk of shame when bringing girls back. My one hesitation however, is that based on what I've read, the close vicinity can be pretty sketchy at night.

I probably can't go wrong with any of those options but I'd really appreciate any insight or additional info. Even though I RTFF, life happens, so I'm sure things might be a little different than they were before. I just want to make sure I'm choosing a good spot.

All of them are changing forex, the only problem is that they don't expose their rates outside on posters.

They won't even tell you their rate until you go inside their shops with them.

But the differences between them are just small.

Recently I saw a shop in the Mtwapa Mall (where the big Tusky's supermarket is) announcing their rates on a board outside, but they are not always open.

An ATM gives you the best rate I'the get a bank card with no international fees myself.

For a first trip walking around with substantial amount of money means that you'll pay more per girl, if that matters to you.

I'the also suggest a ten day intial trip should be in one city. Ten days is hardly enough time to find your way around.
