Hey all,
I'm also wondering on latest status of 999 and brodi. Are they open for business? From the board still sounds like they are best saunas to hit.
Also, what is best strategy to get a long stay? I know I can hit Manhattan but if my taste was not Filipino what else are my options? Mmmm, Russian would be nice. Note mandarin skills pretty much non-existant.

I searched through the forum and didn't see any reports on it. If not, I may be inclined to TFOTT when I'm there in a couple weeks. With my limited free time it will save me searching around for a place, but I would still greatly appreciate some insight if anyone has been there.

QQ is this gigantic vast internet juggernaut of randomness, they seem to be involved in every internet business in China. So how do I find these MMs on QQ? Through website or the chat program or other way? I can read decent Chinese but haven't ever found my way to where these women congregate.

I am travelling to Shanghai in a couple of weeks and am keen to find girls who will do long time that is stay overnight. Honestly I have read through the forum but most discussion seems to be about massage or barber shop places for short time. I was wondering what would be some good clubs where you could find freelance girls who would be happy to spend the night with you for between 50 to 100 English pounds or cheaper if possible.
Is taking girls off the streets safe? Or what about hotel bars?
I stayed in the Marriott hotel in Hong Qiao a few months ago for a week and there were a couple of freelancing women who hung out in the bar but they were asking over 100 English pounds for not more than 2 hours. There were also a few massage places nearby but the girls there just seem too mechanical in the way they go about their service. I prefer the more girlfriend experience that you would get from an overnight and also if I am staying in a good hotel room then why not use it?
Finally there were some girly bars but the girls there were only interested in chatting to you and getting you to buy them expensive drinks.
I can stay in any 4/5 star hotel so are there any other hotel bars where freelancing girls hang out and what would be a reasonable price for long time?
There was a post by Nobody Special about his experience at the Holiday Inn on Dong Fang Road, finding freelancers in the bar for 500rmb. Not sure if it was LT or ST. Do a forum search to see the report.
You could try Manhattans to grab a Viet girl, I am sure they would go for a multi-day package. The girlie bars will just drain your wallet. MPs will be take away ST, unless you have built a relationship with the girl and can get her on her day off. You can drag XinTianDi to find freelancers as well.
The other clubs include M2, Babyface. 88, etc. But most of these, it will be tough, as they are sit down tables usually loaded with Chivas and lots of nouveau riche Chinese.

Manhattan, or everything around, zappata. But you will find there mostly non Chinese girls. You can look around xintiandi too and get approached for Chinese sensations but I've never found anything appealing there yet.
There are several websites / forums where QQ numbers for MMs can be found. Got about 40+ Shanghai only QQ numbers within a couple of days. Haven't checked them all yet (by far). Most charge 300 or 400 for their service (one time) or 800/1000 for a night.
