Fellas, when the guys say there is not a SW the Street. There is not a SW on the Street. Just finished with Jose n Emilo @ Mystik & some other friends in the know and all say this crackdown is harsh. They all want to take a cab..Scared as hell.....LOL! Easier to get them to stay the night now. They hate having to be seen at night. Also notice the reduction in Puta wear from casa to your place. I also have my business room at the Malecon center and it was easier to get them in. (+30)US Double Occupancy!

As of now the only available place to find chicas are the casas. Is that enough to interest a newbie to visit Santo Domingo? I think NOT.

For the SD vets, think like a newbie and do you think there is enough chica chasing oportunities left in SD to spark a newbie's interest?

I will consider Colombia for a future trip. Flights from my country are getting cheaper to Cartagena and Bogota. Colombian girls are cute.

Oh I don't doubt the chicas will get back to work somewhere. The question is will that somewhere be a location convient for a traveling monger? From what I have seen the traveling, foreign monger is a very, very small percentage of the chica's clients.

I have spent many a day and night walking the streets of SD, Gazcue and Zona. I can not ever recall seeing more than a handfull of mongers on any given day. The Santo Domingo chicas do not depend on the foreigner's dollar like Sosua does. If the chicas set up camp in an area only accesible by car what does the monger do?

When the chicas were out in full force on Independencia, the Malecon, the circle by the parque who were 99% of their clients? Sure wasn't members on this board.

You have to see the new look to believe it. Avenida Independencia on a Saturday night now is a hundred time worse than any Sunday in the past. How many ways do you spell the word NO? There are NO chicas working the streets of the Zona and Gazcue now.

Sure you can still go to the casa, get a phone number and hook up later but for a guy just visiting for three or four nights this is too much of a hassle.

I will continue to go to SD but I have the time to do a slow hunt, have a few phone numbers, and do other things besides chica chase. There were nights I would finish with one chica, walk her to Independencia and pick up another. Those days are over.

I never thought I would see the day I would be posting stay away from SD.

I was sitting at the colmado thinking about the time I met you there. I looked around and the chairs were full of locals with their regular girlfriends. I looked at one table with a bottle of red wine and wine glasses (real glass, not platic cups) and could not help but laugh to myself. The colmado is still doing good business even without the SW attracting customers.

There were three hard core chicas at the colmado and they never walked any further than the plastic tables and chairs. The chica who ran off leaving me with her pocketbook that night was there and two of her friends. Bro those three chicas was the total count on Independencia on a Saturday night.

On no, say it ain't so. One of the main reasons I enjoyed going to the baseball games was to watch the beautiful Dominicanas shake that butt between innings. I always got tickets Palcos AA right behind the dugout.

How well I remember the Black Angus and other bars.

I started going to SD in 1967, the street girls always showed up somewhere. It seemed every few years the venue will change. To me and I'm sure for any of us it is relative easy to get Novias ( girl friends ).

Thanks for the tips BoricuaOnline. Barranquilla and Cartegena are actually on my list of future destinations. I also have numbers of non-pros chicas in SD and elsewhere but what I have always enjoyed is the thrill of hunting for pussies in the street.....the real act of mongering! Of course, I can travel to SD to spend time with non-pros chicas dining, clubbing, fucking but it doesn't provide me with the thrill I derive from mongering. I just love being able to wake up at 1.00am walk the streets and be able to secure some good pussies at relatively cheaper prices than the casa. This is the thrill I am referring to.
