According to El Colombiano, the Minister of Health, Fernando Ruiz Gmez, said that the Government is not in a position to comply with the ruling of the Eleventh Municipal Civil Court of Bogot, which obliges the executive to demand the PCR test for people who enter Colombia on international flights.

President Ivand Duque also affirmed that it is impossible to comply with the court order, as it is contrary to the scientific decision supported and sustained, and that it also obeys evolutionary criteria of the behavior of the pandemic.

I am very disappointed by the latest updates I am watching on Caracol's midday news broadcast. Until now Colombia had avoided the politicization of the pandemic. Now unfortunately there is a purely political power struggle underway between the judiciary and the executive branches. Of most interest to us, no testing is required or expected to be required until 2021 earliest.

The magistrate who issued the order is due to leave for Christmas vacation along with his colleagues so his order will stand and continue to be denied by Minister of Health Ruiz and President Duque. The pompous bureaucratic language and political posturing of all parties is not helpful but it is Colombian culture. The test requirement would prevent many Colombians visiting the country diring the holidays for financial and practical reasons. The judge has no power to enforce his order but he can order officials jailed. He also is now in position to blame Duqie for any deterioration in the health situation. It's a bit of a mess but you guys who aren't here can relax and start your trips.

Lots of traffic thou, but chica friendly. You can probably find a few on Airbnb listing and ask the owner to be sure.

My guess is that none will admit to being guest friendly. I've staying in Laureles several times and have not found a guest friendly hotel.

It's like when they announced the closing of their airspace back in March and gave less than a weeks notice stranding lots of people who had to wait for humanitarian flights to get out. However that was much more drastic then having a testing requirement with the rub being if there is a quarantine. I had a roundtrip ticket from MDE to LAX leaving on March 15 which I took, and a return flight from LAX to MDE on March 19 which I didn't take, and the last commercial flights into the Country ended on March 20.

Regardless, I don't think there will be any changes until after the new year if at all, as things have not spiked or surged again just yet, but if they were to, and the ICU capacity appeared in jeopardy, they might act very quickly giving a notice period of no longer than say the testing window for entry into the Country.

But who the hell knows, what I do know is that when we were both in Medellin at the same time three weeks ago, it was perfect timing in that most venues were open, and you could freely navigate not hindered by Pico and Cedula, and only being allowed out at certain times.

In Southern California where I'm at, it's getting really bad, yet the proposed new lockdowns aren't as stringent as back in the Spring. Hopefully by the Spring I will have been vaccinated and will return and be like a rabid dog in El Centro banging everything is Site.

In the meantime I have and do go to Tijuana which is two hours away, however with the exception of the food, is a shithole compared to Medellin.

I also have a Mexican woman I hook up with here nearby once a week here, so I'm not imprisoned like so many other board members.

It's basically like being on another planet how these women compensate you when you treat them like a Princess, and the money becomes secondary for them, because they have never been treated so nicely.

I should of never returned three weeks ago, I'm thinking now of booking my return flight ASAP.

They will quickly become un-guest friendly if too many hobbyists draws the ire of the locals.

Semi low budget but don't want very poor qual.

I went to New Life first, and then took a stroll to central and it rained heavily. I took coverage in the Botero Museum and checking out all the arts.

Afterward, I stroll around the Veracruz area and around the church, but it was bad. My friend told me, which makes a lot of sense is, it's always good until it rain, then only chicas that badly need the money would be there standing in the rain.

Great views, no doubt. Views from both side's balconies are good depending what side of the city you are interested in but I like the La 70 balconies myself.

That would be a big problem and as you suggest they recognize that. I only have Monday and Wednesday as an option for the test and so if by Wednesday morning the coast is still clear I am going to forego a preemptive PCR.
