Been away for a while, during my last visit to BKK, much surprise at NEP, there seems to be a reshuffle as to the venue of some est such as Rainbow 4 etc. Also was quoted LT at 6500 to 7000 BHT. I wonder if there is any inflation around that place as normally in the past LT at BHT 4500 and ST at BHT 2500 marked, any update info on the on going rate as well as BF of the club?

The night started out great with a good dinner at the English pub on Soi 4 opposite Hillary. After that, I remembered a post by Monkeypaw about a hot girl from a bar named Heidelberg. It is just a few doors down from Hillary. As I arrived, there were no girls sitting outside, no girls inside, and only a few old men siting inside. I asked the waitress if there were ever any girls working there and she replied never. We are only a restaurant and hotel. I confirmed and even mentioned about my friend. She replied that the boss did not like the idea of freelancers hanging around and never ever allowed it.

I then moved on to Nana Plaza. First, after sticking my head into the usual haunts and. Not seeing anything worthwhile, I went into Billboard. A huge selection of girls on both the normal stage and on the jacuzzi side. On this night however, the quality was just not to my liking. I really wanted to get laid so I chose number 48. A very cute little spinner with a great petit body and dark tanned skin. Not my normal style but I was game. Invited her down for a drink. Was cohersed into the normal 2 drinks you must buy when you request a lady who is already dancing. Alas, when she arrived, there was absolutely no chemistry at all and after she finished her drinks, I cut her loose. A clear sign of a bad session.

Then I moved onto twisters. I looked in and there were a lot of girls on both stages but the club was rammed with customers so I didn't stay.

OK, so I decided I will go back to butterflies after my good experience from before. Saw my previous little spinner but I think after the good pounding I gave her before, she prefers Asian customers as she didn't even look my way. The selection and quality of young girls there was excellent again. After ordering my beer, I asked a waitress to call over a real cute spinner from the jacuzzi side. Here's where things started to go downhill. The waitress said you must buy two drinks for her. I said I already know and that was fine. Then she asked me again. I said in Thai Mai pen rai, which means no problem. Then she went to the stage and spoke to the girl. After that, again with the question about 2 lady drinks. I said again, I understand. Finally, the girl came over, got her drinks and sat down. We had some good chit chat and then I asked her if she wanted another drink and she said, I will go to the toilet and be right back. When she returned I said what would you like to drink? She said she has to go dance. I said but we are drinking together and how many more drinks would you like? I'm ok to buy them. I offered 6 all at the same time. She just stood up and walked away. At this point, I was furious and she was obviously just trying to get a couple of extra Last drinks and then go back to another customer. Low and behold, as I insisted to talk with the manager, I was told she had already agreed to go with another customer and bar fine. Confirmed dirt bag move by the girl and the waitress. Hence the many questions about two lady drinks. After that, I just paid my bill and left. I debated about not paying for her two drinks but decided it was not worth the trouble.

At that point, it started to rain heavily so I decided to exit Nana Plaza and head to Hillary. The rain was so hard that I stopped under the umbrella where the security were sitting out front of Nana Plaza to think for a few minutes on where to go. One young security guard out of the 4 that were there, motioned his hand at me in a very impolite manner and waved me to move on. I said in Thai, why are you so impolite? He just laughed at me and waved me out again. At this point I was furious and started yelling at him. To make a long story short, the other three big guys came to his aide and I ended up having to leave with a half assed apology from this little kid. The three big guys started pushing me out and there was nothing else I could do.

So what's the morrow of this story? You will have good and bad nights out mongering and one bad night does not always mean the location is always that way. Just last week, I had a great time. Also it may be beneficial to have the lady commit to a barfine before buying drinks for her. I'm normally very good at spotting this game but this night was a little strange. Anyways, I hope this helps someone else who is planning a night out in Nana. It can happen to anyone of us. Even the experienced.

That's when I normally head to Soi 7/1, Soi 24, soi 24/1, or Soi 26 for a massage.

Normally 3,500-5,000. Bar fine should be 600-700 Baht but a few coyotes may ask 1,000-1,500. I hope this does not start another price debate so please note these are my experiences.

Last time I mostly hang out at Beirgarten but girls quality there is not quite good. Mostly Mid to older lady.

Rainbow 4 from 2nd floor move to 3rd I guess, but there's some changes I observed.

True. There might be a misunderstanding between 120 and 170 but not between one-two-zero and one-seven-zero, even more because I used my fingers to show the numbers. But that was probably the reason. The game on the smartphone was more important than a farang asking silly question. Just say yes and let me go back to my game. LOL.

Incidentally, I will be traveling BKK for couple of days for business, and wish to go Pataya for couple of nights. I am not a frequent of Pataya, remember just visit there once via Suvarnabhumi airpor via Van. I wonder should I go back to airport to take the Van as before or I can go straight from BKK?

This time I choose to go Pataya than staying all four nights in BKK as I think Bar sou nana & soi cowboy seems to be much highier expenses than in Pataya, but I can't remember of quality varies or worth for going all the way to Pataya just for about 2 or 3 nights?
