General Info

Twenty (or even ten) years ago there would have been no contest with Thai girls well ahead on the looks front. Now I would not be so sure. I love little spinners and it is not so common to find them in Thailand as it once was. I guess its exposure to fast food (but you have jollibee etc here) but it seems that Thai girls come in much bigger sizes than used to be the case.

Another thing that I detest is the slutty tramp stamps that Thai chicks love to deface their bodies with, like graffiti on a temple. Thankfully this is still quite rare amongst young Pinays.

Cs, the Pinays are also getting 'bigger' over the last 10-15 years.

It used to be rare to see seriously chubby girls on the street. Now, not only are they a common sight, but those over 30-35 seem to be in the majority. Of course, the more upscale the mall or neighbourhood, the slimmer they are. Same holds true in North America.

Just returned from a one week visit to AC and Subic after a 6-year absence. I'll share a few observations: Bear in mind that I lived in Subic for 3-years in the 70's and returned to PI several times since then.

1. AC has not changed much since last time. Still plenty of beer and pussy. I found the Pacific Breeze hotel to be a great venue and well located.

2. I found the larger bars to be fun but somewhat impersonal. I prefer a smaler venue where "Everyone knows your name".

3. After 3-days in AC I went to the Blue Rock Resort in Subic and hit the bars in Barrio Baretto. This was much more enjoyable as in the daytime I went jet-skiing, ate well at the resort, slept late then walked 50-feet for an ocean swim, etc.

4. The evenings were a lot of fun, as after a day at the beach, frequenting the bars in the Barrio has a theraputic effect. A few ex-pat investors have really improved the place with quality establishments and fun girls. Try places like "Bar Baretto", Lips (3-bars in one building), Wet Spot, etc.

5. Also, the resort has a nice floating bar about 300-feet offshore open between 1200-2400 with a nice group of bar-girls.

6. I allways tooK 2-girls per night so I could compare pussys and to give them something to do (talk, swim together, etc.) between sessions.

7. After the week was out, I was suntained, gained a few pounds, and had more than enough sex from some great girls.

8. Mission Accomplished.

9. Note: Buy several bags of lollypops at the local store and hand them out at the bars. The girls love it and you can get an idea of who the nasty ones are when they make an effort to show you how well they can lick a lollypop.

if it is a contest it comes down to experience, I bet the guys who can speak Thai and Issan will tell you they cant be beat for gfe . Just spoke Girl in Cebu about duties of a wife wondered what I was talking about ask an Issan girl and she will know, hers and your.

Different strokes for different folks. But for me Thais win on all fronts. I was somewhat disappointed in PI. I don't like spinners. I like girls with some type of shape. The girls were cute and they looked good with clothes on. But when the clothes came off there went the shape. They had no hips nor ass to speak of. If you look in the photo thread of the Thailand section there has been an ass contest going on for the past week or so. Being a black guy I have to have a chick with some ass.

As far as looks are concerned I think Thais win on that as well. I mean after all there are several beauty shops on every corner in BKK and Pattaya. (I have been with more beautician non-pros there than any other profession.) So what I have noticed is that Thais are more refined in that they are always doing something to their hair and nails. The makeup I don't much care for but they are big on that as well. They put on their gold jewelry and all that. To me Pinays were more plain. They didn't have any of the flash that Thai's have. Sure they were cute but they were a bit simple.

And speaking of simple, as I said before, in the wits department the Pinays did not measure up. It's like their only purpose was for fucking. They tended to offer less personality-wise. From the Thais you will get such a good all-around GFE that you will forget that the ones who are hookers are actually hookers. And they won't see themselves as such either. (This also stems from the fact that there is so much more to do in Thailand besides fuck.) For them they will get just as much BFE as they give GFE. On that issue your mileage may vary though. If you are a fun guy to be around and hang out with then you will be in for a treat. If you are a fat slob and only want to buy as much pussy as your money can get you then it won't work that way for you.

On the tattoo deal I am with CS. I much more prefer a chick without tattoos, but in Thailand you won't have much of a choice. Many chicks will have extremely large ones plastered all over their bodies. In PI I didn't notice any women with tattoos.

Thanks for the insightful post Mr E. I agree that Thai girls, in general, are simply more interesting, more fun to be around, and more engaging. I also agree that it's probably related to the culture, which in Thailand in rich and vibrant, and her is, well it's hard to find what people mean by "Filipino culture," except in some vague sense. But I think much of the engaging/non-engaging phenomenon may have to do with social class as well. I was invited last night to the home of an upper middle class, well-educated Filipina for Thanksgiving dinner. There were about 18 - 20 people, about half of them expats. The Filipinos were all "upper" class, and really fun people. Their English was fluent; they were well read, and knowledgeable of world events, and just fun to be around. Of course, they're also representative of about 5% of the whole society, so admittedly it's a skewed sample.

Yeah, I could say the best and best, and as smart, and intelligent and world wise and so and so. See I left out educated because most of the educated filipinos still lack the rest, and will claim that it is Filipino culture. Stuff like when invited, bringing the whole barangay, and never offering to share especially when it is a friends meeting.. And things like using somebody and then loosing the person is pretty normal. Unlike the 5%.

One common trait in both Thais and Pinays is a behavior that westerners’ think is jealousy, but in my opinion is really embarrassment.

I am talking about the girl you may have "dated" two or three times and has shown you off to her friends as her latest "hookup" and part-time ATM machine.

Then, she finds out you have strayed into greener pastures and confronts you like a "she-devil".

This is not about jealously. It is about embarrassment in front of her friends. She is embarrassed of what her friends will think of her if she can not satisfy you enough to stay with her.

I have dealt with this since the 70's when I lived in PI and frequented Thailand. I went through cycles of perpetual short-times, interrupted by occasional "steady girlfriends", usually after catching the clap.

I eventually learned to keep it simple and whenever possible go out with duos so as to keep it light and provide them both someone to talk to (one-another).

Just my two Pesos/Baht worth.

The women became angry, and/or very nervous because you caused them to lose face.

And saving face is essential in almost all asian cultures.

If they feel badly enough about losing face, they could go so far as to have you killed. Then their face is restored.

You should always treat everyone in a way that does not cause them to lose face.

Everything you said is 100% right. I believe the % of smarter educated Filipinos is lot higher then the 5% though. I think ppl base their opinions on bar girls only and that is wrong. There are plenty interesting ppl in both countries but we never approach or see them at least as part of our hobby. Thais for me lose out only due to their language skills and as much as I like LOS after a while it gets annoying that you cannot fully communicate with some of them. I find it these days that I can only do a week maybe 10 days max in Thailand while I could probably move to Phill...

I'm a bit different. If I start frequenting a country then I start learning the local language. It's really annoying, even frustrating, to me when my friends have been to a country 20 times and can't even say hello in the local language.

Filipino Culture = videoke bar, cheesy dramas on TV, church and cockfights on Sunday

Physically.. Thais are prettier and Filipinas are somewhat fatter (junkfood culture) but nowhere near american levels of obesity

Personality wise.. Thais are less jealous, more willing to do anal sex and kinky stuff if thats your thing.. Filipinas speak english much better and give more of a girlfriend experience

Agree whole heartedly.

The advantage of being able to say even a few words well exceeds the effort to learn.

With such aids as Pimsleur being cheap, it is easy to get up to a couple of hundred words in a month or so in almost any language.

However, it is not worth getting frustrated if others cannot see the benefit.

The good news is that Wowowee has been finished for around 3 months now; the bad news is that it's been replaced by an even worse show called "Filipinas Win na Win"
