Thanks for all the informative posts about Taipei. Very hard for new visitor to find information, especially with no Chinese language skill. I appreciate the clear instructions, directions, and advice.

Started today (6/13) sightseeing with colleague at Longshan Temple and night market there. Fun watching her reaction to propositions from "tea houses" and "Kareoke bars", especially since she understood what they were saying and I did not. But, everyone looked very old, and nothing worth the train ride back to when I was alone at night, no matter what the price.

Thanks to advice here, went to Ceasars. Thanks for the clear directions. Took train to easy walk, and found the elevators in the mall. The mall was closed by the time I got there, but open doors to elevator. At 15th floor, was greated and directed to shower area. I did spend awhile in hot tubs, cold plunge, steam room, and sauna. Almost worth a visit just for that, but my hotel had better.

Went to the rest area and was immediately asked if I wanted special massage; well of course! Lead up and back through secrete door, and met masseuse. First offering was older than I like, so asked for another with no problem. Kiki (mentioned previously on board) showed up after a couple of minutes and treated me very well. She wasn't exactly young or thin, but did have nice rack, good attitude, and was very attentive to every detail. You can read about those details in other posts. It did seem like she follows a routine, but a good one.

After service (about 45 minutes all together) , went back to sauna / steam for awhile then showered an left. Interesting to note how many guys did not seem to be there for special services. Cultural experience. Glad to know from previous posts that NT$ 430 was standard. Exactly what they asked. Cabs waiting at exit, but made it to train before it closed for the night.

Next, onto Budapest. I'll check the forums for that destination next.

Finally had a chance to sample Caesar in Taipei. Was serviced by Kiki. Wow! GFE. But before we get to the good stuff.

Here's some info that I hope may help some bros. These are the little details that I was looking for in the thread, but did not find out until I showed up.

1. On the 15th floor, there is no other business, so you'll know you're in the right place. The greeter will hand you a bracelet with a number.

2. Head to the right. Leave your shoes with the attendant (who will log your number).

3. Your bracelet number is also your locker number.

4. Find your locker disrobe. Your bracelet also has a built in key. Lock your locker with this key. The attendant will lock the secondary lock with his key.

4a. There is a clear plexi-glass shelf near the exit for glasses, cigs and lighters etc. It is across from the refrigerator. BUT there are no locks.

5. Head into the sauna area and do whatever. There are traditional sit down wash areas as well as standup showers. Clean yourself first before using the rest of the facilities.

6. When you've had enough, head over to the exit where you'll find towels and robes. (you can even find matching pants in different sizes.).

7. On the way to the lounge, you'll pass through an area that looks like a makeup room with blow dryers etc. Head on through and find the room with lounge chairs and a bar.

8. A waiter brings you a glass of tea. There is no pressure to order drinks or food.

9. Hang out until a mamasan approaches. In my case, the first mamasan offered a regular massage. I had to signal for the other lady who would bring you upstairs.

10. What happens upstairs seems to be well documented in this thread so I'll skip.

11. Afterwards, I chose to head back to the sauna to chill.

12. After I got bored, I headed back to locker room. The attendant will note your number and yell out to the front desk to prep your invoice. He will then open the locker with you.

13. When you're done dressing, your shoes will be ready.

14. At the front desk, our invoice will be ready. NT$4300 and you're on your way.

Summary: Very nice and professional experience. It was not seedy and sketchy (I imagined a bunch of heavily tatted guys).

In my case, I know a little Chinese. This goes a long way. I am not sure how a non-speaker would fare here. There are no English signs whatsoever. I did not attempt to speak English since this was my first trip and I did not want to risk getting turned away.

The elevator only goes up to the 5F. You have to have a hotel room card to get up past the 5F, which I did not have.

So I took the elevator up to the 14F with someone and I took the stairs up to the 15F, and could not find the sauna.

It looked like a regular hotel floor, and I see people using their key card to get into their rooms.

Did I go to the wrong floor?

I was in Taipei last year. Look up my report after I had some success at the Longshan district.

Unfortunately, I don't have anything to report this time.

I will be here for a little while longer and if others can point me in the right direction to the sauna, then maybe I will have something to report.

Caesars is above the MoMo Dept Store in Taipei (previously known as AsiaWorld). Head into the Dept Store and take the elevator straight up to the 15th floor. Now go make us proud.

You are lucky mate that the board members did not flame you. I too was perplexed a couple years back when I read about Caesars and thought it was a great location next to a transit hub but could not figure out how the hotel management could operate a for a full service sauna on one floor and a regular sauna on a different floor. Then I RTFF carefully and got the right location. I still like a dip in Beitou but I bring my own entertainment.

I'll try to stop by the Caesar's sauna before I leave Taipei.

I did stop by Longshan district again near the MRT station. The block encompassed by Guilin Road, Xichang St, Guangzhou St, and Kangding Road is where the old grandmas wait for customers. But along Kangding Road sidewalk, there is a little alley that dead ends. There are usually some good lookers there. But they all want 1300-1500 NT. They all seem to work for the same madam. They will take you thru some dingy walkways to some dingy basement rooms. Don't expect GFE, and expect to be rushed (10-15 minutes max). Although the price has hiked from 1000 NT from the last time I was there, I guess it is still not a bad deal if you need a quicky.

Okay, I finally found the 15F.

I never got into the public bath thing, but it looks on par with Japan or Korea. I guess I have a phobia about floating pubic hair in these places.

I got there around noon today, and rinsed off at the shower. Something that I don't think has been mentioned is that there are these rooms for taking naps. I got lost looking for the exit, but it seems that everywhere I turned, there is the nap room.

Anyways, I found the upstairs madam and told her I want the special massage. She quoted me 4200NT. But on checkout, it was 4300NT. Not a big deal since I was expecting to pay 4300 anyways.

I went in with not the best looking one, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She had okay English, so we were able to communicate. Not a good massage, just average. But what turned me off was that she had hairy armpits and unshaven legs. I asked for BBBJ, but she did CBJ. I tried to DATY, but she giggled and pulled away. Not a good first experience at Caeser's Taipei, and I had better at the AMPs in the US and other countries. Don't know if it is worth the 4300, and not sure if I will return. But if this is the most convenient game in town, then there are not many other choices.

Tidbits I've picked up about Caesars (for the newbies)

The daytime shifts are 7am-4pm and 1pm-10pm. Not totally sure about the night shifts. I suspect the first one probably starts at 8 or 9pm. If you're looking for girls when they are 'fresh', obviously it's right when the shifts start. Mornings are very slow (except for the stars like #67). I would guess there are 10-15 girls on during the mornings, going up to 20-30 during the afternoon. Based on the slip of paper the mama-san carries listing the numbers of the available girls. If she recognizes you she is likely to let you look at the paper so you can just pick the number you want.

Girls don't seem to make that much money. I heard around NT70k / month from one girl. There are at least a few that live at home with parents, although I'm pretty sure the families have no idea what they do. Most seem to be in their 30s (or older?) , although there are a few younger ones in their mid-late twenties. Most are native Taiwanese but there are a few PRC girls. Very very few speak any English. At least for me it seems to be fairly easy to get cell numbers and contact them outside of work, but obviously this depends on your chemistry with the girl.

The special massage is NT4200. Most people pay NT4300. They charge NT100 for cleaning your shoes. You have to explicitly tell the guy that collects footwear to not clean them if you don't want the extra charge. The only food / drink that are free is the hot tea they'll serve you in the lounge and the self-serve soda / tea fountain. There are also foot rubs (NT?) and veggie massages (NT2000) available, but I have not partaken.

Still haven't been to any of the sauna's or clubs yet. But through some other Chinese forums. Found a number of services that offered delivery service to my hotel. Tried a couple of them, but it seems that it's really hit and miss with a lot of them. They all communicate through MSN in Chinese, which isn't bad and I'm more comfortable talking to the agents through MSN than over the phone.

Generally though, for delivery service, so far for 4k level girls, I've gotten a really random sampling. Most of the time its run of the mill OL or university student type. Girl next door nothing special, but not terrible looking either. 5-7s. I've tried a couple of more expensive ones (6-7k) after building up some credibility with one of the MMS, and the quality does seem to improve in terms of looks and service. 7-8s. But in general, you really can't compare with mongering in China or HK. I've got some more lined up to try next week with the same MMS, going to try some even more expensive ones and see how they are like. Also met another agent who can source japanese and korean girls. But he wouldn't let me order them until I am a regular customer. So we'll see what happens with that one.

Anyone know what Kiki's number is at Ceasars? Want to give her a try, and wanted to get the correct one.

So had a bit of time to kill this afternoon and went over to Ceasars around 3pm in the afternoon. Was kind of surprised how busy it was, as I was thinking people will be leaving by 3pm already after going during their lunch hour. Anyways, won't bore everyone with the details as the experience has already been documented here many times already. But suffice to say, it was exactly how the others have reported it to be. Only difference was that I had to wait for over half an hour in the lounge before the MMS approached me to ask me if I wanted a special massage. It wasn't that it was so busy she never came around to me, but it was just that she was never there in the lounge. She popped in maybe 3-4 times in that entire period.

Anyways, I asked if Kiki was available, but she had no idea who it was and asked if I had the number, which I did not. Then asked for some of the other recommendations like 67 and 37, and neither were available. (only worked night shift and day off). She said she will recommended someone else who was similar to those I asked for, and luckily I was not dissappointed. I was expecting some grandma to come through the door, but surprisingly I got a MILF type who was in her early to mid 30s with a banging body. Only around 5'2", but nice D cups (fake but very soft) and super soft skin. I believe someone else on the forum had her before, but I can't find the post anymore. Anyways:
