The story is she married a gringo which is why she disappeared for a while. Then it fell apart so she is back but not regularly.
Don't remember Laura. What did she look like?
Laura was toned black chick that wore flattened extensions. She seemed pretty cool. She had an ugly tattoo on her leg. Betty boop or some shit like that.
I see problems, I find a solution. Problem solved. In this case, I go to these Casas fully equipped:
big towels to put onto the bed (and I plan to upgrade to fitted single bedsheets as a major improvement)
Another towel to dry off. I ALWAYS take a shower afterwards, sometimes even before too. A third towel if the second towel gets too wet after 3-4 girls.
Havaiana slippers to take showers without having to step onto that floor. And to easily slip in and out off when going onto the bed and back onto the floor.
People laugh about that, but it solves most of the problems. Most girls take plenty of showers. Unfortunately this does not work in Vila Mimosa, as most don't let you take showers. One reason why I don't go there.
I find girls in the cheap casas that are better then anything I find in major termas. For me, 18 year old fresh girls with no babies are the best. You rarely find this in major termas.
Also, there is a mid level quality that often is VERY clean: the massage parlors like belprazer, flaviamassagens, duda massagens etc. There you usually get CLEAN rooms, like the high priced special suite in a termas, better then the basic R$ 350 rooms in a normal terma
And then lug around wet towels, dirty stanky towels and sheets, and wet flipflops. Just what I want to be doing.
Thankfully it was only R$300. I can't figure out why the thief didn't take the rest of the cash or the credit cards but whatever. Maybe thief didn't think I'd notice.
Unless you are 100% certain that the money was taken from you (and not dropped or spent by you elsewhere) you should not be posting this here. Never, ever heard of such a situation in any termas I had been in. (Luomo, Monte Carlo, Centaurus, 4x4, Cancun). Everyone here knows you need to be careful with $. But accusing someone of stealing is a serious matter. And then asking for a $100 discount off the bill. Something doesn't seem right about that to me. Why not ask for a freebie. The full $300. Or better yet, ask to have the police come so you can report it.

3 days, R$1000 in Rio
My lady went back to visit her family here and I had a business trip to Rio. So I wanted to see if Rio has become as expensive as everyone is writing about. I havenīt mongered solo since hooking up with my lady - but she was all for it and hoped Iīd find a few nice ladies to share together next time we both hit Rio.
My challenge to myself - spend only $R1000.
Bus to and from Rio: R$100
2 nights at Ibis Centro: R$300
Breakfast, snacks, beers (3 days): R$125
Dinners: work entertainment expense
BelPrazer: 2 mornings: R$160 (40 minutes each)
Escorts: ScortShow & Ju Panteras: R$320 (including a 13 hour all-nighter, and a freebie the next night (Friday) as she took me dancing and then stayed over in the hotel again rather then go home to Niteroi. She did work on Saturday)
Termas: 4x4: 40 minutes, free entrance, R$250
Would have made it but I had to have at least one termas experience while there. But still inexpensive considering the amount of great sex I had with 5 different ladies. And I did not have to go far from my hotel or visit shit infested cabines. And I have to say the termas visit was the least pleasurable. Learn Porto.
MT has better pricing, R135 for a hora dupla. I see from GPGuia that they have a couple of alleged completas there and my flight comes in well before hotel check-in time...hmm..I think I'll pull a Hughdad and arrive at the casa straight from GIG without even dropping my piece of luggage first. ;) This could be rough, both for me because the long flight and for the garotas who will be getting a cu workout so early in their day. We will see.
PP, Ibis will hold your bags for you before check-in. They are very accomodating there. But you can indeed also drag a bag along to BelPrazer. (The mamasan got a kick outta that.) Pull out a body of Victoria's Secret lotion from it and you will get the deluxe treatment. Man, they go crazy for that stuff and it isn't even premium grade. Got a free second night of great GFE for a few $8 bottles of lotion and a few $4 lip glosses.
Saturdays at BelPrazer are really great. Lots of ladies working - from 10 to 3. I went around 11:30 and it seemed many girls were still getting themselves together. Juliana is a nice mulata young lady. Small breasts but a super tight bubble butt. Sweetheart - but a real tiger. (BelPrazer is now also running 181 RB, Sala 801 according to the mamasan. A few of the girls at 185 RB, Sala 2114 on Saturday were from there.)
I spent 3 entire days in Centro and only made it the Ipanema for dinner. No Copa mongering whatsoever. Balcony sounds like such a hassle. My command of Porto has gotten to the point where I really can get by great in Centro, and connect with the ladies and share true laughs. This helped get me some all-nighters. Lapa is nutsy fun.
I'm back in Rio June 10 myself. Cheers

L'Uomo Locker Room Theft
Back in the US after a great weekend in Rio. At the end of the day, it was only R$300 stolen and I can say it won't break the bank. But, what concerns me is that what could have happened. My credit cards could have been stolen (at least the ones that were in the wallet. Others were in the hotel safe), ID, and ALL my cash. What gets me is that there was JUST enough to cover my two sessions and drinks, with just a touch leftover. It's as if the thief knew my total tab.
Here's my question, as far as my past experiences and from what I can see in the waiting/holding room, we all hand over our locker room keys to the girls for that five to ten minute time period when they do whatever it is back in that room. They give them back when they come back out. So, the question is, should I be taking the actual key off the keyring?

L'uomo
Let's put all this stuff about thefts at L'uomo to rest once and for all. I can attest from my own personal experience why I believe such a thing isn't possible.
The very first time I came to L'uomo was in August of 2000 (my God, that's 10 years ago!). After I had gone into the locker room and changed into the robe, I apparently did not lock it appropriately, although I didn't discover this until later. I went to the boite, sessioned with two girls in a row for an hour each, and took my own sweet time between the girls. I finally returned to the locker room after several hours to get ready to leave. When I got there, I was shocked to see that my locker was wide open. The attendant came up to me and said that I hadn't locked it correctly, so she had taken all of my stuff, including clothes, underwear, shoes, Rolex watch (which I had stuffed into a shoe), and my money pouch and had put everything into another locker, locked it, and kept the key until I got back so it would be safe. Of course, she said I would have to keep the original key to cash out. Needless to say, I was very grateful and gave her a nice tip. Ever since then, after I turn the key in the lock I give the door a tug to make sure it is locked.
I am relating this story just to illustrate the level of honesty in the locker room. If somebody had stolen something, as another customer easily could have, it would have been my own fault, so this nice lady saved my ass. I have never forgotten that. This is why L'uomo has a special place in my esteem and remains my favorite termas. As for the garotas having the key for a few minutes, so you think for a minute that these attendants would let these girls anywhere near a locker? Absurd. Can you imagine what would happen to a termas' reputation, and business, if this practice became common. You and your belongings are perfectly safe at L'uomo and probably any other high end termas.

Or better yet, ask to have the police come so you can report it.
I am 100% certain it was stolen. I have absolutely no doubts about it whatsoever. Like I said, Citibank on Visc. De Piraja gave me R$500. 4x R$50 notes and 3x R$100 notes. I proceeded immediately to L'Uomo via taxi and the money was in my wallet when I got out of the taxi. So unless a VERY good pickpocket managed to get my wallet out of my backside, open it, grab the notes, and put it back in, I have absolutely no qualms about making the accusation that the cash was stolen from my locker.
At first I declined to pay. Then the manager was going to call the police for non-payment. I then asked to see the girls. They refused. That's when I said, let's make a deal here. I started at R$300 discount. No. How about less? I kept going down, ultimately R$100. This was going nowhere. They kept saying it was impossible. Well, it was possible. Feel free not to believe me, but it happened. I wasn't drunk, I wasn't careless, I was robbed. Flat out robbed. Then I paid. I just said to hell with it. There are other termas in this town, and quite frankly, with Jamile no longer there I have no need to go there. What good would calling the police do? We're talking about R$300 here. I'm the gringo who speaks only basic Porto. Wasn't worth my time. Doesn't mean, I can't post my experience here so others can proceed with caution. You take it for what it's worth. If you want to believe me, fine. If you don't want to believe me, fine. It's your money. Just my advice to me more cautious going in here.
In hindsight, what I should have done was put the entry and drinks on the credit card and then disputed the charge. Unfortunately, in the heat of the moment I wasn't thinking.
Let's put all this stuff about thefts at L'uomo to rest once and for all. I can attest from my own personal experience why I believe such a thing isn't possible.L
Lorenzo, you're pretty much calling me a liar. We aren't going to get to the bottom of this here. You don't know me. I don't know you. Take it for what it's worth, it happened. You can say it didn't happen or you don't believe it happened, but I'm telling you it happened. I can't even believe I'm telling this story either, but I have no doubts.
I'm not telling you not to go to L'Uomo. What I am saying, is that maybe you should exercise even more caution than you currently do. That's all. This is Brazil we're talking about.
And, let's face it, if you've been to an FKK in Germany like Artemis or Palace, the level of security can't be compared. At Palace there are separate cash storage lockers in the main entry area, a separate safe in your locker and then the locker itself. You can't compare the security. You key is never out of your hand.

Just a warning
I will delete this post later, but I have learned something about losing money in Rio:
I have lost money twice when in Rio. Once I lost the money to pay my driver on the way to the airport and had to pay him the next time down. (I know now I probably left it in the apartment or in a pharmacy.)
In both instances i suspected foul play. But in both instances there was another commonality: I kept looking for and handling the money repeatedly before it turned up missing.
I noticed the same thing in the recent post about Luomo. The poster kept saying he looked at the 3 100R notes when he was doing other things. This might be a sign that he lost them. When you focus on something it can cause you to subconsciously do things you did not mean to do.
In my cases, i kept moving my reais from pants pocket to shirt pocket, to keep it "safe" so I would have it for the driver.
And guess, what, I probably took it out and set it down in a pharmacy or on the table as i was checking out of the apartment.
It is best, at times, to just put money away securely and leave it there. Every time you handle the money presents a chance for loss.
Add alcohol to the mix and.....

B.S. Cheap Casas
Hi B.S. - equipped like you comming to the cheap casas - that is certainly ok and you can survive there without any problem.
Personally I do not like to run around with a bag filled with a bed-spread, 3 towells, havaianas etc. I usually go to the good casas in R.B. where I get everything, a clean room and bed, towells and immaculate clean pussies. But each to his own.
Continue your reporting - the Forum benefits from it.
Another towel to dry off. I ALWAYS take a shower afterwards, sometimes even before too. A third towel if the second towel gets too wet after 3-4 girls.
Do they have showers there at Casarao and U24, by any chance? These places were dives and I never sessioned there cause I figured that they didn't have a shower...and what about U210?
NS Copa 583 sala 204 did not appear to have showers, even for the girls! Stanky. 1 session there and it sent me running to L'uomo where the Y smells of soap and latex, not the day's catch. :)
Speaking of the lavatory, one day in Centro I sessioned on RB simply cause I couldn't find anyplace to go to the bathroom, not even in in the metro station... that was before I found the bathroom upstairs at the McDonalds nearby, I think it was on Vargas. :) Tough city to take a leak in.

Showers for you and her?
Do they have showers there at Casarao and U24, by any chance? These places were dives and I never sessioned there cause I figured that they didn't have a shower...and what about U210?
R$ 1/min casas like BA85, U24, Carioca 59, VM etc all have showers. That is showers for the girls working at the casas. The customers are not meant to use the showers (unlike the "upscale" Rio Branco casas).
I had showers at all of these places. I've been offered clean towels, dirty towels or no towels at all (using my shirt as a towel). The standard of the bathrooms varies a lot. BA85 bathrooms are decent. VM and Carioca bathrooms are nasty. However in some situations, like when you are having a date right after your session, a shower is just necessary no matter how the bathroom looks like.
Regarding the cleanliness of the girls. In the RB casas the girls shower after every client. At the R$ 1/min casas and VM the cleanliness varies. Not all the girls showers after each client. That's one of the reasons I prefer early visits to be the first customer of the day.
