Closing thoughts from staying at Campo.
I think I may be the minority here since it seems like most people in this forum prefer the Colombianas. Although I did gravitate towards them for my first few sessions, there's an x-factor about the Dominicans that reeled me in. I think it's in their eyes. Their eyes just seem softer in general; like they have a story to tell, and I felt like it was easier to connect with them on a more intellectual level. Heck, I still think about the one Dominicana I had multiple repeats with when I was here a couple of years back.
Anyway, staying at Campo was pretty cool. I would definitely do it again since I do like the convenience of the location. I was able to drive pretty much anywhere I wanted to on the island within an hour and for the times I was too lazy to roll out and look for a new place to eat, the camp's cafeteria serves some pretty decent food. The Lomito steak was delicious. Try it but bring some gum since it does have onions!
Speaking of that, being able to brush my teeth and shower right after each session and relax in my room was just so convenient and refreshing too. It was also great for recovering from liquor while saving some money. Most of the time I was at the bar, I would order a vodka with a lime, which was just the right amount for me to feel swell for about an hour. After I finished each one, I just went back to my room and filled the cup up with water so it looked like I topped off my vodka but in reality, I was simply re-hydrating with good, clean H2O. I did get a pretty good tip from a local guy though: Buy the 250 ML bottle of Dewar's for 25 and then a couple cups of coke to mix it with. That should definitely last most people for a while if they were just hanging outside.
Well then, back to reality. 'Til next time!
Finance 101 with a working girl, anywhere!
Nice detailed reports from GSR. But felt compelled to write this after reading his experiences. Not trying to bash him by any means, but always come to the venue with the correct amount of money you intend to spend. Asking for change is well. Pretty much insulting to a chica. You've got the cash in hand, regardless of what was agreed upon. For the 6 buck difference, that's just. Bad business on the part of the patron. I was chuckling when I actually read that. The girls are not banks. That dispense. They are purely on the intake side. To negotiate 40 and come to pay with 50. Wow. Sorry, but can't blame the chica for scooping up the note. Do the math on 50 florin vs. USD. 30 bucks is one hell of a deal in this day and age.
Campo Worth A Midday Visit?
I have an opportunity to stop over in Curacao during my flights back from South America to North America but it's a crappy layover of several hours starting from about 9:30 am to flying back out at 2:45 pm same day. Given those time constraints, would it be even worthwhile for me to take this route with this layover and make a quick midday visit to Campo? I figure I would have to get back to the airport by 1:30 pm or so.
