So Baccara is now members only for some races?
I read a few reports suggesting that they have changed their model to imitate what was happening in some bars in NEP particularly Rainbow 1.
So it is official now? Or it depends on how busy they are?
The customer is always right?
This is not a response to anyone post but just to add to the general discussion.
As a small business owner myself we make our money off the top 20% of our customers, customers that are relatively hassle free, are professional and make high value purchases. The next 65% of customers we make some money, but not as much as the top tier group but it is a profitable group and usually good people that are easy and a pleasure to deal with. I thoroughly enjoy dealing with the overwhelming majority of our customers.
The bottom 15% of customers we make nothing and they tend to think that we are there to serve their every whim which eats up more time and more resources than the top 20%, we lose money on this group and they cause more hassle than they are worth. They also are a downer on our staff with constant unreasonably demands and complaints that no reasonable person would make, morale killers basically. We actively try and get rid of the bottom 15% of our customer database, we are polite in dealing with them but our ultimate goal with this bunch is to move them to another company.
The term "the customer is always right" was coined about 100 years ago, you can google the origin and why it came about but it has not been a business model for 50 years or more.
A gogo bar doesn't want customers to sit on their own and just drink. The girls and bar earn nothing this way. Most importantly if the best girls are not earning money they will move somewhere else to where they do.
Ultimately if you want the best out of any gogo bar you to be at least aware of what they expect. I know dealing with this industry worldwide is not exactly the easiest but the odd THB 100 here (US $3) and there is all that is needed to keep everyone happy and ensure a good time by all.
