So like with everyone the demonetization is having a huge issue on my lingering life. I was wondering if anyone has any idea where I can use my debit card / paytm to pay?? I came to India 4 days back. I was expecting I can get some cash at airport, but then got KLPD'd when they said they no longer exchange notes. Now, I finally got 10 K, but then it makes me think, if I spend it on hobby, then for any practical needs I will have to go again for cash, felt irresponsible to spend money on this when it can be used for some other essentials. Seems like this cash crunch is hitting on the hobby. How are people managing, I think it must be harder on this industry than the others. Though there is one plus point for providers, they get cash without even going to bank or standing in queue, assuming if they get the same number of clients, which I doubt in this dry period. I hope things improve before I leave in 3 weeks and can taste some meals.
