Kiev next days
I'm landing in Kiev tomorrow for some days, does anybody has a contact for Mystery Tramp ?
I read a lot of good and bad reports about her, I'm new to Kiev and will mainly point at regulars, but who knows what happens and MT seems to me as a plan b,c,d.....and a very kinki sex addicted...
If yes please PM me.
Thanks a lot,
Latin
I would say that in the upscale clubs security is ONLY interested in how loaded you are, and possibly whether the chick you're with comes up to scratch.
Shooters is not especially expensive and therefore accessible to local, average-earning Ukrainian guys. Hence there is probably some latent desire in the bouncers to bias things in favour of their countrymen. Not ideal, but that's life.
I'm sure most ordinary Ukrainians would be truly shocked that foreign guys are being prevented from entering clubs and chasing their women.. ;)
I just have to add -
I entered Shooters with two women, maybe that works - ;)
<---Black Man from America, no issues in Kiev
I did not have this exact thing happen to me, but certainly girls took note when I said I was staying in an apartment. (So did business associates, who in many trips still had not clued into this economical way to travel, and were impressed by my savvy - thank you ISG!) I think it is kind of a litmus test - do you know your way around, or are you just a tourist?
Plus some girls view (or used to, a few years ago) hotels with a stigma - hotels are for hookers. Of course, if you are at River Palace or Night Flight, this should not be a problem, because they are hookers. But some "normal" girls may balk at going to a hotel, because they are still pretending that they are just being sociable, not commiting to having sex.
It is also important to differentiate between hotels. The "Hyatt" has a whole different ring to it than the "Slavutich", which is named after a kind of beer. At least that's MY version of the story. :)
Still, if travelling privately or staying for more than a couple of days you should be in an apartment.
If the company is footing the bill and your stay is short, go for the Hyatt or Premier Palace to save the hassle of getting setup in your apartment.
Maybe Shooters does have a problem, yet every time I've been there it's been very international... like a UN convention, and Turkey had the chair. It sounds like the management is trying to maintain balance to me, which is a good thing even for Turkish and ME mongers. Too many of your own countrymen in one place will definitely spoil the soup, and that pretty much goes for all nationalities.
Yeah I agree with this Shooters thing - I've personally never seen a problem and also see a lot of people (turkey) in there. I think one of the managers is turkish and one of the owners.
Maybe you got there too late? I have seen them only let in select people if its a really packed night and late.

Some other posters with a darker look have had problems, whereas others have gotten in fine. I contend that although individual bouncers/doormen may have racial issues, the club itself isn't racist at all and just tries to maintain a balance of different nationalities.
I actually quite like that place, even though I've only scored there a couple of times and usually just got drunk. The atmosphere was usually fun though.
It seems I generated a lot of criticisms, comments and discussion. It would be nice to have comprehensive reports as well. Maybe all these afterthoughts by me can be combined into a single reply?
About Shooters being racist, racism is not defined by the official policy, but rather by actions. Now that your friend is aware that the goons outside are setting up their own policies maybe he will take action. What action? well the goons could be fired. The outside sign saying that "face control in in effect, no questions asked" could be removed and replaced by a phone number foreigners could call to report such incidences. A specific dress code could be put in effect instead of a vague "face control".
The first thing the bouncers asked is whether I was tourist and then where I was from before calling someone and telling me I could not go in. The right lines are "welcome to shooters, please come in". It is a shame. I heard Shooters was good and the way I was treated at the door marred an otherwise great trip.
Face control is important because they want beautiful people inside.I have never had any problem entering any upscale club anywhere even alone and with very cheap clothes.

I thank Stevie69 (do you like 69 very much, don't you? ) for his interesting report. That has some useful information and, if it is all true, you are a very successful boy In general, average men must work a lot to get some fucks.
I confirm Shooters' etiquette, only Ukrainians (or foreigners with UKrainians). The first time in November 2007, I went there with an American forumer but "security" men didn't want we got in. The second time, in June 2008, I went there with an Ukrainian, only he talked to "security" men, then a "security" man looked at me very carefully and, at last, we got in. This is a way to say "Ukrainian girls to Ukrainian boys only".

I'm curious if anyone has any experience with the dozens of Ukrainian marriage websites out there. Just for kicks, I did a google search and came back with a bunch of options.
I have no idea if they are scams or legit matching services though. Some of the girls on RWGlobe.com anyone would be lucky to marry, for example.
Obviously, these aren't sites designed for one night P4P. But for those looking for something more serious, are there any legit sites out there?

Elena's Models seems to work okay. I paid for three email addresses and I'm still in contact with one, one didn't get back to me after sending her a picture, strange she already knew what I looked like. One is from one of the 'Stans and not really my type looks wise. The last one is 21 and from Crimea and working during the summer, has been out of the country and speaks pretty good English and one of the few on Elena's surprisingly enough looking for an African-American. Its also the same site another friend of mine who is Black as well, found and married his wife.
I'm also on Lucky Lovers; met the girl I hooked up with in Kiev on that site.
Overall I'm not too pleased I think I can do better, but I think I have limited prospects in the EE so I need to "spread myself around" on many sites to maximuize my success rate.
With that said I'm not giving up on Western European women as there no Visa issues and level of conversational English is usually higher, unlike Ukraine/Russia when the best English speaking girls are most often models, escorts, tennis players or work for multi-national companies.... Larrisa the 34 year old Kiev single mother and Lena the 21 year old student have would I would call English level about 4, not quite conversational, Larrisa actually used a dictionary at times during our chats on Yahoo..lol
My next trip will include visting local marraige agencies, many of the web sites out there have local offices as well.
If you Google "Russian Women Forum" you should come up with a good forum about this subject and is frequented by both American Men and Russians women, not all whom are married. I didn't link it here because as you say the main focus of this site is P4P or Short Term relationship with thought to Long Term if smitten by somebody.
You also might want Google "Russian Women Blacklist" which should give you a list of the best sites to use and the ones that report Rip-offs, shake-downs, etc.
Doc seems to like Bride.ru and they use "face control" on that site under "Gold, Silver and Free". You can guess how many "hotties" you'll find under "Gold" compared to "Free" but a few decent ones fall through the cracks for whatever reason, so its recommended as well.
Good Luck and maybe Jackson should add a Sub Forum around here about this subject.
Not to make this post any longer, but there's hope for you even though changes on the ground make it seem more diffcult. The only thing that has become harder actually is bagging freebies just because your a Westerner, Decent Looking and Young. I takes at least ONE date and you have to appear sincere. Fail that and nothing will happen. Sounds like home huh? Well not really, because if your in pursuit of a serious relationship the numbers don't lie; Western men because of several reasons are not following through with the women they contact through web sites and agencies. Which means less men visiting and more women available...
What you have to avoid is Professional Daters.... That's the challenge now.

Elenas Models seems semi-legit.
I have met a couple of girls from there, and corresponded seriously with a few others. I think some of the girls there are serious about marriage/relationships, but there are a reasonable number of "good time girls". And of course, some scammers.
Lucky Lovers seems to have even more "real" women and a very low scammer ratio.
So, lots of nice girls, but not as explicitly available for sex as appears to the case on some other sites.

Sos
May someone tells us what is the address of RP and if there is another place in Kiev similaire to this one?
Where we could find apartment in Kiev for next week?
Thank you
-
Every taxi driver in Kyiv knows the words 'River Palace' in english. Or do you plan on sending them a letter? If you really have to know their address google 'River Palace, Kyiv, Kiev', they have a webpage.
If you want to find apartment agencies that have been mentioned in this forum use the search feature. Or google 'apartments, kyiv, kiev'.
Good luck.

read this very interesting article:
http://www.kyivpost.com/nation/29364/print/
River Palace is a big business of Western people and this forum is a shop glass of that big business.
A lot of comments here are about Western business in Kiev and this is a reason because very few people blame about prices.
I am curious to try prostitutes where Western business are harder to get in. Maybe price goes down and quality goes up.
What about prostitution in Slavic countries, what is the problem? Prostitution is a Slavic background: in the past, hotels needed young blankets for their customers and girls needed money for their marriage settlements.
