2,5 K might be the price for newbies mostly (for the moment), I've never been asked more than 2 K yet.

For long time I've heard a lot more than 3,5 K though (up to 4 or 5 K) on top of the 2,5 K barfine.

The guys being asked 2,5 K at soi 6 might also been asked 6 K for ST in a gogo.

I think near second road and in the middle of the soi is mostly 1 am, some close at 2 am near beach road (like Utopia) but it's not a rule as Wrath close at midnight for example.

Thats why I know you were being quoted a short time rate for the girl to leave the bar with you for 1-2 hours. After she can go back and work again. So, you were quoted 2500 and 3500 for this plus 1000 Bar fine. Chalk it up to you being drunk and not understanding what you were asking for. Soi 6 is still good value. I have paid more that's for sure, but it's not because they asked. it's because I gave the girl extra to make sure I got what I wanted.

About what you ended up paying outside the bar, that was also for short time and its the normal rate for a FL to go to your room. I suspect she agreed because it's low season now. However, that's what you would have paid if you found one on TF and then she came to your hotel ST. Let's be clear, for the 1300 you spent, she would not have stayed overnight in most cases because that would be considered long time. That would be 2000-5000 depending on the girl.

These days I give them 1200, so the 1300 TG negotiated seems exactly right. Most of those chicks sleep in the bar or go to Walking Street discos after work to find other customers anyway. 1300 baht is a lot of money in Thailand and it saves them the hassle. 2000-5000 baht for a farmer chick off Soi 6? Nobody is mad. However, two main points to take away from this. 1300 Baht long time is not a realistic price to pay. Most bar girls working in a bar will reject that. If this story is true, she was desperate for money or not very hot. 1300-1500ST is the going rate for a bar girl on site or an FL. Therefore, she made you a great deal. You basically paid the ST rate for a LT even though she never stayed. I think that was maybe her plan to bail.

Secondly, 3000 LT is not an outrageous price. Forget about the bar fine, I am talking about just what you pay the girl. Bar fine anywhere between 500 baht - 2500 baht for a long time bar fine and 2500-3000 LT for the lady is not outrageous. It's normal.

Here ia good summary of the prices these days, give or take 500 baht either way.

Short time from a bar-1 shot typically-1-2 hours.

1500 baht plus room fee 300-500 Baht, no bar fine.

Short time off site, 2000-2500 Baht and 1000 Bar fine. Why? Because she needs to leave the bar and then go back.

Long time from a bar-overnight.

1000-2500 Bar fine depending on what time you take her out of the bar. The earlier it is, the more expensive it is, the later it is, the cheaper it becomes.

2500-3000 baht LT to the girl.

FLs.

1000-1500ST.
