Avoid Karama if possible.
Can anyone tell me the status of the Karama Hotel? Is it Green? Headed to Dubai Friday and am thinking of staying there.
Thanks.
Panapapi
Nowadays Karama is not very green, they keep changing their policy very frequently, its better not to take the risk of booking and going dry. My suggestion is you can consider Seaview instead.
Info requets: Green hotels near airport and daytime hobby spots
Greetings all,
Finally I have a chance to stop in Dubai for 18 hours layover on 2 occasions in August.
Airline does not provide hotel so I have to book myself[I think this is great because I can look for green hotels and hobby freely while I am there ].
Any updates info on green hotels close to DXB and day time hobby spots in Dubai would help tremendously.
In return, I will post a detailed report.
Thanks
Where is Marina's please?
So I have been lurking in ISGs shadows for a while now. And it's time to contribute.
Although I do the rounds at the usual hotspots in the Golden Triangle, I very rarely seal the deal. After a few drinks and some flirting with the ladies, I am usually more interested in a good night's sleep.
So I am now more of an AMP man, and having done some research on those that offer a little something extra, I discovered Marina's on Muraqqabat road in Deira, and have been a regular visitor for a year now.
Being a frequent flier, the approach is quite streamlined. My visiting time is usually late afternoon on a Friday or Saturday and the place is usually very quiet ...
Hi,
I am new here.
Can you tell me where is the place?
Thanks
New to this forum but not Dubai.
A friend stayed there two weeks back and his girl was stopped from going in.
I don't believe him as it maybe that
- He booked single occupancy.
- girl I'd perhaps was a copy.
Thanks
Hi gents,
I'm new to this forum but not new to Dubai and have been visiting this town many times during the past 6 years. Too bad I didn't discover this site when I first started coming to Dubai. It could have saved me a lot of time and possibly a yon of cash too.
4 Point on Banks street is very green for both, not issue for either brought-in nor called-in, most recent stay was Dec 2012.
Another very green one is Traders in Deira, bar in the lobby.
Hope this help.
Which is a better hotel, and which is green
Dhow Palace hotel or Ramada Dubai Those were the choices given to me, which would you chose, why?
Thanks everyone!
Hotels become red during Ramadan?
I'm thinking of dropping into Dubai on the way to Europe, end of July time, but I fear hotels may become very red during Ramadan, I know there will be some girls available but getting them into my room could be difficult, can anyone tell me if this is likely to be the case.
