The Cups in the DR
Hi Guys, this is a newbie report on my recent visit to Santo Domingo, Sosua and Santiago. Forgive me for not posting in the city threads. Of the three cities I likes Santiago the best because the climate is a little better, more sightseeing and the girls were generally less mercenary. I met a busty teacher walking by my hotel (Aloha Sol) and invited her up to the room for a beer. Within minutes we were having fun on the bed. The monument is fun to walk around and there are good restaraunts all over. My friend, T, set me up with another Santiago chica that was really a lot of fun, too. In Sosua, I stayed at Hotel Casa Valeria and recommend it. Nice pool and quiet and near everything. The ribs at Rocky's were great. Went to Rhumbas and picked up a double dee cupper who was good to me. As a whitey in Sosua, however, I definitely felt I was being watched by all the hawkers and taxi drivers trying to make a buck. I didn't see or experience any crime but still made my chica choices fairly early and holed in for the night. Met a sexy thirty-something on the beach there who owned a shop and spent two nights with her. My best chica experience however, was in Santo Domingo with a DC chica. She was in the top 5 of all girls I have had in my life! Five foot seven, 42 dee dee 26 36, gorgeous white smile, caramel skin, extremely amorous. I saw her three times. A bit more expensive (3 K) but worth it at least to me. I had eight chicas in all -- all dee cups and most very nice. Not knowing Spanish was a handicap but it is doable. Would I go back? Probably but I do like the Filipinas more even though it is rare to find a busty one there. Sorry no pics. I promised the girls I wouldn't share. Oh. Santo Domingo I highly recommend the Casa Conde Residencias on Jose Reyes. It is about three blocks off the main drag (El Conde) in Colonial Zona. For $60 you get a real nice suite with kitchenette, sofa, view of the parque across the street and is near corner store. Feel free to PM if you have any questions. Many thanks to T for all his advice.

Good to hear
Glad to see you had a great time. It is very easy to have a great time if you are patient and plan just a little. You got your big chested girls and enjoyed them.
Glad you liked the two hotels in Sosua and Santiago but disappointed about your ribs at Rocky's (LOL). I mean sosua has so much variety, in food of course! The ribs (and chicken) by the American guy (next to Rumbas I think) is very good I thought.

Thanks, Old Kool. You are right. Yes, the average cup size of a Dominicana must be Dee! It is hooter heaven!

DR is very dangerous!
I'm now having second thoughts about traveling to the DR, after seeing this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjE_JeIHhXM
Things I learned:
DR is one of the most dangerous places on earth.
Guatemala is much safer.
Cuba Dave stopped coming to the DR because of crime, he felt unsafe.
The expats who can leave, have left. Ones who are still there because they have nowhere else to go.
DR is only good for hanging out with the boys.
Rookies beware!! Veterans be very afraid!!

That Video from the Hobotraveler is Crap, and full of all kind of nonsense and misinformation. Yes the DR is dangerous. So is also dangerous Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Afghanistan, Iraq, Russia, Africa, India, Bangladesh, Thailand, the Philippines and also before I forget the USA is dangerous too. Guatemala is not safer than the DR as he claims. CubaDave did not leave the DR because of crime or because he felt unsafe. If I am not mistaken, CubaDave left because he was given the boot by DR authorities for promoting sex tourism. He also does not like the DR anymore because the close down his favorite places in Sosua (Passion and CMP). If they open Passion and CMP, I am petty sure he will be back in Sosua. DR is not the most dangerous place on earth. There are other places more dangerous than DR, for instance Afghanistan, Iraq, Guatemala, Honduras, Venezuela, El Salvador, Brazil, and Mexico, they all kick the DR in the more dangerous department. About the Hobo traveler saying that DR is only good to hang out with the boys. He is only saying that because of what he is a Hobo traveler who happens to like boys and not girls. Why the DR is not good to hang out with the girls when that is what makes the DR great for mongering?

Rookies beware!! Veterans be very afraid!!
Ha! Anyone who says that DR is one of the most dangerous places on earth has no idea what they are talking about. Perhaps there are places that ARE dangerous, poorer slum areas, but anywhere that tourists would regularly hang out is reasonably safe. Not Vienna or Milan safe. But safe enough for the seasoned and reasonable tourist. Comparing the DR to places like Guatemala and Honduras is ridiculous. Those places have regular buses robbed every day.
Its all about what parts of the country you specifically go to, and whether the crime problem has spilled over into more mainstream areas. I don't know what this Haitian expulsion is going to result in, but other than that, the DR is FINE.
And BTW, the more you get around, the more you hang on the vine, the more you realize that Cuba Dave is NOT a good source of information.

I recently visited DR for the first time. I felt completely safe in Santiago and Santo Domingo. In Sosua there were lots of people watching me but I did not experience any violence or robbery. Moreover, I have never seen so many big boobs in my life and not all had fat asses. So, I would probably go back to SD and Santiago if I got a cheap flight from the West Coast of the USA

Cuba Dave
When some one quotes Cuba Dave I stop listening. Old Dave was shown the door because he was seen as a potential trafficar of girls. Totally false but it did scare him. The tourist areas are as safe as anywhere you could be. The DR government is very tough on anyone who touches a tourist. How the powers that be feel about sex tourists is a mystery to me. P4 P is a part of DR culture. We mongers are just a small part of the business.

Hobo's attitude in the videos is that of an innocent man tolerating the wackiness of "mongers" while he floats above it all. The guy is either a closet case or a weirdo. His attitude changed after he was beat up in his hotel room. His opinion is far less valuable than most when it comes to Sosua or the Dominican Republic.

I am planning a Colombia and Dominican vacation with time split between the two countries. I am trying to build an itinerary of (NYC area) USA to Medellin to Santiago, DR back to the USA (NYC area).
So far I am at about $2,000 in airfare for the three legs. I have to believe that there is a cheaper regional carrier that goes between Colombia and the Dominican Republic. Any of you Latin America travel vets have any tips? Thanks.

So far this is the biggest deterrent for me to travel to the DR, even more so than the possibility of getting cut up like pica pollo and dumped in a barrel.
Anyhow, using google flights and the multi-city feature I was able to find an itinerary from NYC to MDE to STI to NYC at $1,035. About half of what you got, bro. Try it!

I don't know when you are planning to travel, but best time to purchase a ticket is before 2 months to one month of the flight. You should try https://www.google.com/flights/ and try different options such as multiple cities or just one way tickets to your first city of destination. For instance, I looked at a flight from NYC JFK to Medellin for $217 with Jet Blue for late August, then a flight with Jetblue from Medellin to Santiago (STI) in early September for $381, and a return to NYC JFK from Santiago (STI) in either Jetblue or Delta for $235. The total for the three one way tickets is of $833. If we meet, You should buy me some Cervezas Presidente with a whole pollo asado and you should also pay me a chica session in Sosua because I just saved you close to 1,200 USD LOL.
