There is a difference between a quote and the final figure after negotiating. All too many times people in these mongering situations consider the first quote as the price. Nobody is telling you to accept what is first quoted. I have never been horny enough to do that, the same as I am not broke enough to accept the amount those restaurant people were first quoting.

I will stipulate that I can buy lunch for 2. 5 days with 250 THB. This might be a dumb question but do bars at gents clubs and soi 6 serve non-alcoholic and non-carbonated drinks (besides water)? For example, are there juices and tea / coffee available and if so, do they charge more for these compared to even some alcoholic beverages and soda? Believe it or not, I had a bar in Medellin, Colombia that charged more for just cranberry juice than beer.

Don't be shy about asking for pricing when you go into a bar.

I usually drink club soda in the bars. I have friends that just order water. I know what you are talking about. I was in a cabaret in Nice and mixed drinks were 40 euro. The cheapest thing in the menu was water at 35 euro.
