This vaccine thing comes from the top. If there were a thousand new vaccines invented today, the United Stated FDA would approve every one of them. And the CDC, one of the most corrupt, crony bureaucracies on the planet would be pushing every single one.

The manufacturers got their way in California. An unbelievably huge amount of money was dumped into Sacramento, the capitol, to get Senate Bill 277 passed. Families that don't comply with the vaccine mandate will lose their state constitutional right for an education in public and private K-12 schools. Also the use of licensed daycare facilities, in-home daycare, public or private preschools and after school care programs are all included in the new law. School aged children not up-to-date on every mandated vaccine will be required to home school without options for classroom learning.

​Now they're fighting the same thing in New York and it will sweep the country. The push is world wide, it's a global political movement. And it's completely funded by the industry because it's a huge money maker for the drug industry. It's a perfect product. You have the government order people to use your product, set your own price, and if anything goes wrong you have complete liability immunity. You can not sue a manufacturer or anyone who administers it if there's an injury involved.

I don't want to take sides or even get into it much more because I already have 305 posts. But I'll just finish by saying that the HPV vaccine is touted to fight cervical cancer. But what they aren't telling you is that thousands of girls are having a long list of horrible adverse reactions. And over 100 deaths at last count. That's according to VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System). And estimates are that up to 90% of events are not reported.

So. Is there any proof that it's safe? No.

Is there any proof that it's totally effective? Is anyone going to guarantee that you won't get HPV? No.

Is there any proof that it's not safe? Yes.

Is there any proof that it's not totally effective? Yes. The vaccine contains the virus and many people contract the virus after receiving the vaccine.

And most cases go away on their own anyway.

I think anyone should have the right to put anything in their body they want. It's just tragic, and in my opinion criminal, that this stuff is being pushed without proper education of the risks.

M not related to madics just m a user in my place and sometime other places around the world. As per my experiences I should say in Philippine medical service is relatively poorer in respect of qualities and expertise even than the so called third world countries.

In my last experience it was a plan to stay 3 days with a 39 yr old girl in Angles. But unexpectedly we were in need to shortage our staying in one day, due to a medic problem of her 20 yr old daughter. The daughter given a birth of an American child in hospital by Scissorian. On the third day of operation my girl came to see me with a plan for staying three days. Until then, all was quite ok. But we make shortage of staying after having emergency call from the hospital that her daughter gets infection in her wound.

It was been informed me that all Scissorian mothers in Philippine need to stay in hospital minimum three days but generally it goes for a week or more. That makes me little surprise because I have seen in Thailand or Nepal the Scissorian mothers come home just after a day with their babies. Even in Kathmandu I met a girl have spotless belly since she have a Scissorian baby.

It is major surgery after all.

I spent 3 days in Manila Sanitarium for acute gastroenteritis once. It may not have been the most glamorous of facilities but it was clean and the care was excellent. Meanwhile, in the US, my wife worries that she'll lose a patient due to the high patient to low nurse ratio in ICU, 2:1 instead of 1:1 in the UK, and that's on a good day when they're not understaffed like they usually are.

I do laugh when people call the NHS "socialist". It's a label: maybe it's right, maybe it's not. But unlike here in the US, I don't spend hours on the phone arguing over yet another incorrect bill, or worry whether an op will be covered, or whether insurance will pay for a medication, or whether that medication comes in a generic form (=lower copay). Sure, the NHS isn't perfect but at least you'll be treated if it's medically necessary and appropriate, without bill shock some weeks / months later. "You never knew how good you have it" certainly applies when moving from the UK to the US, unless you're a high roller and / or no medical issues!

I'm not knocking US healthcare: if you can afford it, or on an excellent plan (can your employer afford it) you can get great care.

BTW my 3-day stay in Manila Sanitarium, room and food, labs, medications, doctors etc cost a grand total of £120, about USD $183 or Php8628.

1) Heart reconstruction surgery is a procedure most cardiac surgeons in the US have only heard of. It is a procedure where stem cells are used to reconstruct dead muscles of a patient's heart. Recovery time is less than 2 weeks as my 26-year old friend can testify to. Done in Thailand and India.

2) John Major, an ex-Prime Minister of UK also went to India for a medical treatment. Surely he has money and access to hospitals in UK.

Reason is that treatments in India, Thailand have weaker regulation. So when it comes to experimental treatments the barrier to prove risk and benefit is lower.

One of my friend get hit in his head than a hospital in Dhaka (I forget the name) take out piece (s) of his skull and re fixed after a week of treatment. Relatively Singapore is the best choice for treatment on that Zone just get to higher expanses.

Some prudent steps would reduce but by no means eliminate risks: Never give the girls your real name. The owner or renter is either a local guy who has your back, or a foreigner (in case of condo) who both has your back and doesn't mind the risk to his property. Given enough money (in the case of the local fixer) or enough loyalty from the fellow foreigner, it might work. Costs money, but even three ordinary apartments would cost the same or less than a single decent apartment in many Western cities. Plans are still vague, but got to think of something on the boring outbound flights.

We have seen this story before in Cebu and it didn't end well for one of the former members of this board. Persoanlly I'd advise to stick to one live in at a time and enjoy hobbying with others (even multiples at a time) at a different place. As for the harem scenario, too much jealousy and too many issues will make it no fun in the long run and likely end badly.

Funny how things happen here in the Phils.

The following is more information than most will want to know:

I guess you could ask that they accept your request to use a your alias, but I think coordinating everyone's compliance may prove difficult. May raise eyebrows and suspicions.

For me to provide housing and have to deal with issues that inevitably arise is a level of involvement I don't want. The great thing about this country is you needn't bother.

I don't really care what they think about me, but don't want to offend their sensibilities and become unwelcome. My best experience with security guys who had my back were at the Casa Bocobo in Manila City (not sure if it still exists). Spent plenty of time waiting at the outside cafe tables for girls to arrive while shooting the breeze with a young Ilonggo guard guy. The story in Cebu is only one of many examples of harems turning out badly for the monger involved. There is a documentary called "An American and his harem" that predates the Cebu disaster. It features an American retiree who built a compound to house his harem members in individual love shacks. Jealousy eventually exploded between his concubines, accusations were made, and the American is now enjoying an extended visa-free stay in the Philippine government's luxury accommodations for cheeky sex tourists. His concubines eventually retracted their false accusations but the Philippine courts refused to reverse his sentences. Apparently, it is good business keeping cheeky sex tourists confined indefinitely.

Meeting the father and then screwing the daughters and their cousins seem like a high risk strategy. Jealous Filipino boyfriends are part of the drama. The girls are slum dwellers from the banks of the East Balibot River. Desperate people do desperate things. Mr. WB's story sounds like the setting for a drama involving sex, jealously, betrayal, unjust imprisonment, extortion, and murder just to point out a few possible themes. Why risk all this for sex with no long term commitments? Pretty slum dwellers and starving college students are always available on an as needed basis for threesomes at your friendly neighborhood Sogo Hotel without leaving behind copies one's ID and providing harborage for pinoy boyfriends at apartments and condos.

One should never underestimate jealousy and envy in the Philippines. They are the most frequently and intensely felt emotions in the country. Ignore these emotions and they will destroy you. They are the national religion. The destitute natives envy white skin, wealthy nation citizenship, and bank accounts holding reserve currencies. Creating situations where female natives and their local boyfriends depend on your economic support but may end up feeling slighted because you allegedly gave a rival harem member more cash or gifts will result in your demise. Even if you were careful to give each one the same amount they have a tendency to lie to each other about the amount they got in order to increase perceived status. They will always take another Filipino's word over that of a foreigner. So, once they feel cheated by your uneven generosity they will feel compelled to take revenge. Filipinos love revenge almost as much as jealousy and envy. The end result for the foreigner is involuntary extended stay in Philippine government accommodations or being murdered.

Mr. WB mentioned an Ilonggo. I find this interesting as an American expat and his Filipino wife were recently brutally murdered and thrown down a well in Bacolod by Ilonggo gardeners because they felt the couple did not pay them enough in wages. Other Filipinos regard those belonging to the Ilonggo ethnic group as being liars and flatters who exhibit a superficial sweetness. Their victims are often caught unaware when the betrayal and violence comes. An Ilonggo man once said he would never marry a woman from his own ethnic group as they tend to have the staring eyes of a lizard waiting for a grain of rice to fall while hiding their true emotions. He said the Ilonggo husband is always the last to know what is happening in his house as the wife and her relatives will keep everything secret.

I thought this was worth mentioning as visitors often think of Filipinos as one people instead of a nation of various tribes scattered over an archipelago, each tribe having its own notoriety for certain traits. Many do not speak either Tagalog or English in regions outside the common tourist destinations. For this reason, many expats refuse to learn Tagalog as it is not much use outside of Luzon.
