Just spent a few days in Rio and never found time to get out. Coming to Sampa next week and I have double the $ to blow. Not that I need to but I would be ok with it since I spent nada in Rio. Looking for recommendations on high end spots; Bamboa, Cafe Foto, or anything else. Again, more of a quality than quantity guy. Never been shopping in Sampa. Need some solid recommendations. Is 900BR a true estimate for clubs like Bamboa? Staying in the Jardins area. Speak Portuguese but usually don't tell people that up front.

A LOT of the same girls that work in those high-end named clubs like Cafe Foto also work in other clubs like My Love.

Got talked into going to Scandalo with some colleagues recently.
Place is so pretentous and kind of low class pretending to be high class. There are some nice outdoor areas past the main boate, and off their restaurant, that are worth a look. They let you smoke cigars in the outside area at least outside the restaurant. It's a kind of coffee shop.
Pricing is insane even by SP terms. The girls started her negotiation at R$700. I got her to agree to R$500 which is still crazy but on par with what I can pull from Cafe Foto (which has better talent, by far).
But at Scandalo, I think it's R$150 to do the deed on premise at their "motel". And it's R$250 instead to take the girl out, back to your hotel. Are you kidding me? Plus then she needs the whole R$50 for a taxi thing, which is just BS.
This is the problem with going out in SP with colleagues, they never want to hit cheaper places, and it's always going out LATE. We didn't get there til 11pm.
Just not close to worth it.
