There won't be any international recognition, the Russian assets are now Ukrainian assets and the sanctions from the EU won't disappear.

How can Russia pretend to be the victim when they have nuclear weapons and always start wars against their peaceful neighbors, like Ukraine and Georgia.

I love how the Russian regime is crying about Russian culture in Ukraine when Putin killed the future of Russian culture in Ukraine. You don't exactly win the Ukrainian people's hearts and minds by murdering their children.

Russia invaded Ukraine during the previous administration as they simply watched, played cheer leader, sent the money entrusted to them to others when it would be better spent on my fellow Americans. Trump has been in office for just over 100 days. Give the man at least as long as the previous administration has to effectively do something.

The scam here is the same as almost every war has been since WW2, something akin to the domino theory. If we do not stop them in Ukraine, they could be breathing down the necks of Germany in no time.

What is so stupid is from 1945 to 1989, Russia was already in East Germany.

And they are supposed to give up their nuclear weapons is a new one. Really? Yeah, well, you are right. If that is a question of peace, the Russians can and should keep fighting.

The irony of the domino theory is that NATO did in fact expand until they were right on the Russian border and worse than that with NATO help, Ukraine actually invaded Russia. That the Russians want to keep a buffer zone and their nukes seems rational to me given all that has gone on.

The power outage in Spain was caused by overreliance on solar and wind energy and underinvestment in the grid.
