Ciudad Juarez

I know that several mongers are very skiddish about going to Juarez, but I still go. Went over late this afternoon, walked over the Stanton Street Bridge, and found one of my providers out selling chewing gum on Ave. Juarez. She is better than average looking, uses the purchase of chewing gum to open the door to more interesting things. Some gals will stop you on the street, saying they need five pesos to catch a bus, and then they will directly ask the question "Que esta haciendo, donde va?" "What are you doing, where are you going?"

At times, the Hotel Condessa, Hotel Rio de Janerio, Don Felix Bar, Bombin Bar, can all be good. I walked by a least three groups of policias, and was not bothered, as I walked past the 16th of September. I have even had good luck in the last month over off La Paz Street, south of the 16th of September. I always keep bigger money bills hidden, walk with a purpose, and wear a hat and sunglasses. I'm as gringo looking as you can get, and am seldom bothered by the policia. But I do realize that visiting Juarez is always a risk, as one monger put it,"You are a man without a country when visiting Juarez."

I probably wouldn't have figured it out on my own. He showed me how to freeze frame the newer videos on my cell and upload them as pictures. I actually live in the westside so we are close. I will k. We use to have mongers here, that would go mongering in Juarez, and hit Taco Lucas, while they were over there. That's over with. Taco Lucas has shut down. IMO, that's the kind of stuff that made mongering fun in Juarez. Go get with a babe, then hit Taco Lucas. That's over with, now.

I loved the Juarez MP scene and always managed to find someone worth enjoying there, even if it took some time to drive around from place to place.

I was happy being able to move freely and fearlessly in Juarez, but now I fear the carjackers, extortionists and police. It is really unfortunate and I hope that we will see a change in the situation soon. I want to get back to the days of hearing "Ay papi que rico" emanating from a 23 year old morena hottie as she bends over the massage table in front of me.

Mugroso, Bbond, DreamingEagle, the list goes on and on. It's depressing.

I still go to Juarez, and am planning on going this weekend. I also have three American friends who LIVE in Juarez, and these three individuals get along fine. Yes, I know it's a risk. But, damn it, there's nothing going on in El Paso, si o no? So, I am going to take an occasional risk.

Also, if you get caught by El Paso's wonderful LE, your name and picture will likely be on the internet and / or the newspaper. So, it is a risk, no matter what you decide to do. I would prefer an occasional risk over staying home 24/7, wondering what might have been.

I live over 1, 000 miles from Jaurez. Have made the trip to El Paso annually for about 10 years. I am not going this year. I have occasionally posted but now just browse to see what is going on. Too old to run, can not carry any type of defense there. I probably will not travel that far again. Not interested in getting in a Drug War cross fire. The local LE ALWAYS had their hand out but never actually stopped me. I always drove in an older vehicle that I dubbed my "Mexican car". Never dressed like I had money. It will have to clean up a lot to get me back.

I was going daily and knew the owners of Marilyn's and Genesis.

I know a lot of you always to for the young pretty one first. I did some times did that but ALWAYS got the best service from one a little older that had not worked too long. They usually had a kid to support and wanted to see me again.

I'm as gringo as they get and have never once been stopped or felt threatened in any way. I've been to Pink Lady where I was the only gringo in the place, I've been to strip clubs (and left with my pick). Mostly I stick to SW and make my selection after walking the area for awhile. I've been there, on foot, walking the "red light" area by myself after 1 am many, many times.

Luck? Maybe but I've never seen anything threatening or felt threatened.

I once picked up a young spinner SW for 5 peso (about 50 cents). Where else can you do that?

Many of the SW are druggies that I stay away from but Like someone else said, many are single mothers just trying to get a few buck. Maybe a little older and a few more pounds, but way better service (and cleaner).

Let me know if any of you need a wingman. It would be fun to share a couple beers after some activities.

By the way, I speak about 10 words in Spanish and that hasn't given me any problems either.

[/QUOTE]Yes, I need a wingman, cause I'm all nervous. I'm available on Tues, and Wed only, and only during the daylight hours. I won't stay in Juarez, when it gets dark. If anyone here would like to hook up with me on Tues, or Wed, let me know. Heading over there about 10 AM to noon, and returning before it gets dark, is good for me.

I'll have my pen camera on me, so I can take some pictures, and maybe some videos of the girls, but I won't post them to this forum, unless the girls say it's okay to post on the internet. I don't need to make enemies in Juarez.
