I had been to Aksary several times in the last months despite all warnings. I never felt really unsafe on the streets even they are not clean or well iluminated. Tried Cocktail Nightclub, I think differently spelled (Coktyl?) , which I like on my first visit. The last visits are as unproductive like the ones to Baccardi. The waiter greets you, as you have been together in the army for at least two years. You sit on a table and get overpriced drinks and once you approach a girl the bill is getting higher. Left with 140 TL on the bill and alone.

The best place for me is Balance close to City Hotel or old Seranda. You pay 50 TL entrance fee, are guided to a table and the first drink you order is included. You can sit and watch the people without being herassed and no waiter is bothering you every 5 minutes to buy a new drink. 90% plus are local people.

In the Disco are 20-40 girls mainly from Romania and the Ukraine. The action starts 23. 30. The negotiation are only allowed to be taken place on the dancefloor. You go there and talk to them. It is funny for foreigners like me, but it works. The majority of the girls are definately not models but ok more on the older side. 30 and above.

The price is 300 TL for 2 hours. I took a girl from Ukraine with me to my hotel at Taksim which was no problem. Anyway you reminded me the good old days and I totally agree with you Balance is far best choice in city. I am trying to tell this to people since one year. I am foreigner, no Turkish language skills whatsoever, apart from Merhaba.

Girls in Coktyl and Balance have the same quality, I think those from Balance will go to Coktyl later, after 1. 30/2. 00.

I have only little experience with other clubs in Aksaray. Sometimes I just enter a place, pay my entrance and run away after 5 minutes if I don't feel comfartable. This happens to me for example in Golden Can and some other places with names I forgot.

Still on the nostalgic side, missing Seranda, which had been the best place in Istanbul or funny places like Big Pub.

I would ask anyone to put some Information here, if he find a real successor to those.
