It makes sense why some guys say they're charged a enormous amount on seeking arrangements. If they know people are paying $99 a month to use it then the people who use it are insinuating they're willing to pay more than the going rate. Especially when there are much cheaper ways around.

There are different observations made about SA. I think they are all true, including what you said. The result depends on how you filter and use it.
The site is run by a bunch of schizos. Ever since the clamp down on online prostitution, they tried to have it both ways, portraying themselves as another [URL]match.com[/URL], or a dating site. They changed their name back and forth from Seeking Arrangement to simply Seeking and now back to Seeking Arrangement. They suspend or kick people off with little or no cause. Any suspicion of soliciting sex and you're suspended. Mind you, just a suspicion. And you're out the fee unless you dispute it. It is best to take any conversation off site immediately.
Having said that, I have a love / hate relationship with the site, though I think I'm done. $100 is the monthly charge now for being able to read and send messages. A free membership is basically worthless without being able to message. It served its purpose for me. That is, having various sugar daddy arrangements. In the US, I eventually stopped using it since the women generally wanted too much and it was too much of a hassle negotiating. Colombia was a breath of fresh air up until fairly recently. I live in Medellin now and I prefer regular arrangements. Especially during the pandemic. Granted, it's still highly risky, but less risky than seeing a plethora of women.

A bunch has been said about cost of SA. In Colombia, I never paid the kind of prices mentioned here, $150 to $300. I never negotiate in dollars and at this point, I don't have any. You're marked as a tourist and the price is automatically increased. The most I ever paid was 250 mil, though normally around 150 + taxis. That's still a bit high, but you get what you pay for. Tinder is less, starting at 100 mil. Anyone that asks for more, I negotiate or move on.

And whether you should use it or not probably depends primarily on three things:
1. Your country. If you are in Medellin it's IMO a waste of time because there is SO MUCH cheap and beautiful pussy available. SA is simply not worth the time or expense there. Same for most countries where prostitution is legal. On the other hand in the US aka Pussy Prison, Seeking is amazing. It's only place your going to find good looking girls willing to fuck you if you follow the rules (which are very much the OPPOSITE of picking up a hooker.) at a reasonable price (for USA).
2. Your time. It takes a TON of time to sort the wheat from the chaff. Like 10-20 hours a week. I personally enjoy it so that's not a downside for me. But if you don't have the time to browse chat, eject, repeat then SA won't work for you.
3. Your Style. Some guys are just down to grab a girl fuck and leave an hour later. Other guys like to go to dinner and dance and drink and smoke hookah and then fuck. And if you are lucky she might just sleep over. Your not getting any of that with a hooker (at least in most countries) unless you are paying ridiculous hourly rates.
There's a whole discussion group on this here on ISG. If you are US based you should check it out. It's a bit of an art form finding And cultivating the girls. But many of us are available to help. Just ask.

If you want to fuck a beauty queen, a lawyer, doctor, a university student or have a long term relationship, then using seeking is a good value.

I have found plenty of working women willing to dine, dance, do hookah, or travel with me just for the cost of a meal, ticket, or activity. You do not have to go to seeking to find that either.
Seeking is worth it in the US (for me, anyway). I get it a month at a time and get a bunch of contacts, then cancel. If I get a SB out of it, then it was well worth it. If not, I at least got a bunch of contacts, many of whom will be PPM. Some of those will be higher than local escorts, but many will be lower.
I only would use Seeking in other countries if my account were already active. I would never subscribe just to get names in another country that I was just planning to visit for a short time. I've used it successfully in Tijuana, but never Colombia.

Barely any likes or matches, even after using the boost. I know how Tinder works, and used it a lot in Russia, very successfully, hundreds of matches, and in CDMX. The problem with Tinder in Colombia is that girls do not update their accounts to gold or plus, and can't see your likes, and therefore can't like you back or message you. If you message them, they can't read. I see a lot of pros there, but still not even one decent match. SA is free for them to message, Tinder is not. And it has nothing to do with my profile, because I have been using the same pics and bio for awhile.
