You're right that in Malaysia and Indonesia the working girl scene is different: Farang are not the main target audience, not much GFE. However, if you ever decide to revisit Jakarta, target the regular girls. Foreigners are in short supply, and even if you're 60+, you'd be surprised at what kind of regular girls you can get, although you'll probably need some pipelining and at least a 2-3 week stay. Indonesians tend to be more curious and outspoken than Thais, and there's more variety of types than in either Thailand or the Philippines. As for Filipinas, they sure are desperate and friendly, but I don't really like their vibe much.

I'm in Thailand at the moment. I have done the rounds of the popular massage places and go go bars and met some beautiful girls, have repeated with a few but sadly no one that I would want to take on holiday.

I enjoy conversation, especially pillow talk. Unfortunately even with girls that have good English skills after the usual small talk there is picture but only intermittent sound. It has no doubt something to do with the age gap and cultural differences. I'm not expecting intellectual discourse but they don't seem to have the slightest interest in anything happening in the world. Their life is absorbed by their phones. No problem though it is what it is and its OK. At my age being able to spend a night with a gorgeous young lady is more than I should reasonably expect and I am more than grateful l for that.

I am also of an age where I should by all rights be retired, but still have my nose to the grindstone. I escape to SEA for the occasional holiday, and enjoy it greatly. Always I am choosing between LOS and the PI, for exactly those reasons: girls better (for me, YMMV) in the PI, food vastly better in Thailand. Also a bit less violent crime from what I can see around me. Anyway, you can't go wrong with either place IMHO.

I wish I had visited earlier in my trip, as I found the best of the 8 night stay there. I am a 68 year old white guy, and while there were a couple of ladies that wouldn't give me a glance, I really believe I could have had my pick of the liter if I chose. There were 4 or 5 that I was interested in, and all gace me smiles back, but the lady I picked was a 35 year old MILF, that looked 25. No holes barred, and she was every bit as ibto the love making as I was. In fact, we almost got each other off during the cab ride back to the hotel. As I said, I wished I had gone to Thermae before my last night.

I think it was the quote marks around having their period that threw me off. However, the fact that every girl would have gone with him (if they could) undermines his advice to get the mamasan's help in seeing who to talk to and buy a drink for. His advice might be useful if a guy is a troll or a Jabba the Hut type but I doubt a decent looking guy would need to do so. Of course there is always asking the girl to sit with you; if she does, asking her whether she barfines, and will she barfine with you; if she says yes, then buy her a drink. However, since she could be lying and try to get out of it by quoting a ridiculous price, you might want to talk about price and time after the first drink, lest she just use you to make her drink quota.

Maybe I can learn from this. I do apply levels of rudeness selectively in bars to keep away unwanted companions, sucking up for a drink. Largely just ignoring them if at all possible, and preventing anyone from sitting on lap. Not even offering a glance at them often works. I never thought of having a supply of fake cockroaches etc. To shove down her clothing if she is wearing anything. LOL Wear do you buy these? I would love to have some for emergencies.

One thing I hate is unwanted massages. I don't even like massage. Do have any special advice to get rid of a girl who starts an uninvited shoulder massage? I hate ugly girls grabbing me uninvited. During the day I'm typically wearing nice shorts, collared shirt and sandals. But at night when it's cooler I wear khakis or hiking pants (i can hear the Brits giggling at "pants"), collared shirt and sneakers (trainers). Many hiking pants convert to shorts so you can easily dress it up simply by attaching the leg bottoms. More than one girl has told me they approached me because I was better dressed than some guys who looked like they just stepped off the beach in swim trunks, "wife beater" tanks and $1 flip-flops. Most Asian mongers are normally wearing pants. It's all about personal preference too. I personally feel much more confident when I'm a bit more dressed up. You don't need to wear a 3-piece suit, but at least look like you gave a rats ass to wake up today!
