I rushed to Baccara Friday night around 11:30, the doorman asked to buy drink first. After getting the drink went upstairs, it was completely packed, took few minutes to find a sit. Topless dance was going on, I ordered a Padthai. I have a policy of paying my bills instantly to avoid any unecessary fuss later.

The girl I promised to take next time during my last trip was busy with another customer and the lady I wante to repeat had vanished. Not many newbies I saw, all old girls with their attitude of ripping you to the fullest they could. #28 always catches my eye with her model like face and beautiful fake boobs, but IMO avoid her at all cost. She got a princess's attitude, I saw atleast 3 men talking to her but none offered a LD.

Up to an extent I believe the Japs have ruined Baccara culture by offering exaggerate LDs and tips to girls and Mamasans without giving a single fuck it makes them ask more from you. Anyways it's their money, who the fuck am I to judge. A lady with the old Jap guy besides me sucked out of him and wanted to host me, WTF go away I said.

It was 12:30 and I had to bang someone that night. Noticed #16 shy and not desperate to get a customer so might be new I thought, asked the mamasan serving me to check whether she was up for LT, which she was. Some punters think Patpong is too long a trek from Sukhumvit and not worth the trouble. IMHO it is not that far and definitely worth it.

Last night I went to Emmanuelle. I will report on my massage parlors in the appropriate thread. Suffice it to say now that my S category girl was very attractive and she showed me a good time. Up until that visit I always thought Billboards talent was a cut above the rest for this Farang but nooo!. There were 10 or so hotties and the rest were still above average, very very few fuglies / fillers. I tend to find Billboard has only maybe 5 hotties and then the talent pool declines quite quickly into ladies just making up the numbers so I was very impressed with Kings Castle.

I heard a rumour, can't say how reliable, that business at "Love Scene" has not been going as well lately and food standard may have declined. The rumour further indicated that "Love Scene" may not get a renewed lease in approx. 1 year from now. Could be some other nearby business, wants the floor space. LOL Can't imagine if this rumour really has any substance to it.

Initially Crazy House was rumoured to be interested to take over Old Dutch premises, however has not happened as yet and seems too long since I heard the rumours. Not sure that CH can justify an expansion any more. Business looks to have been dropping off, along with the standard of the girls.

If they didn't pull that double drink nagging and other hassles they would have been doing better. Haven't bothered going there anymore during my last two visits to Thailand. Took three girls there in total over multiple visits, one ST which was a starfish, one LT which did a runner, and another ST which was so boring that I might as well shagged a sandbag or something.

Come to think of it, I don't bother with BKK Go-gos anymore. If I visit a Go-go then that is in Pattaya but with the BF prices going through the roof I haven't been a frequent visitor to the Go-Gos there neither this trip. It seems both in BKK but Pattaya especially they seem to try to counter the reduced business with raising prices in general thus creating a vicious circle. Sorry but not sorry, I ain't going to pay a 1500 baht barfine while a Thaifriendly hookup is about the same price if you don't haggle which I don't for that price. At least the 1500 baht barfine hasn't arrived yet in Bangkok?

In Bangkok I either try my luck via TF as well though this lazy bum who just complained about barfine prices in the sentence above also had no qualms with paying the relatively more expensive (independent) escorts via Smoochi. Never had anything below a mediocre experience there, and most of the time good to excellent. I don't mind paying the higher price as long as it goes to the girl and not a place where I just had the privileged to listen to 'car alarm music' as it has been accurately described here in this thread.

For the first time visitors reading this, I aint saying to avoid the Go-Gos but keep your wits about and don't let the girls or mamas leech you. Don't pay upfront for ST / LT neither which seems to be on the rise as well, always refuse. Hell, go even to Crazy House for a peek inside but I don't recommend buying any of the wares there and now the quality has declined even more compared to my last visit there a year ago it seems. If you are younger then Thaifriendly is a goldmine (though I think oldtimers can have success there too) for both pros, semi-pros and non WGs. I even managed to pick up a freebie while I have close to zero 'game'. Bangkok has a nice mix of working girls and non working girls on there.

Next time I really 'need' to see Thermae, six times and counting in Bangkok and never set foot in there. Just realised I never went to a Soapie massage too yet. Keep forgetting they exist. Heared they aint doing too well and might be a thing of the past soon?

Never had a problem in Thermae even pulled in some stunners at the regular prices, just be presentable, cool and confident. A few times did seem like rejection but I just calmly move on to the next one I fancy. And it works both ways, I reject far more.

BTW have been noticing a lot of the same girls in Thermae and just a few seem to be new faces since the new year. It's true that there are very few foreign sex workers in Thailand, but honestly, reasons behind it don't make sense to me.

In Malaysia, the economic and legal situation is no better, yet there are tons of foreign workers PRC / Vietnamese / Indo / Bangladesh. Prostitution is illegal in both places, but in Malaysia the police / immigration raids seem more brutal than in Thailand, with 30-day prison terms instead of just fines and maybe deportation. On the economic side, the price of foreign prostitutes in Malaysia starts at about RM 50 on the low end, only 400 baht per pop -- cheaper than the bottom end in Thailand. On the high end, prices are more or less comparable, about 500 RM or 4000 baht.

One difference is that there's plenty of domestic competition in Thailand, whereas in Malaysia there is very little (almost no domestic prostitutes), so foreign workers are the only source of supply, and there's plenty of demand.

Of course, for Japanese / Koreans, it would rarely make sense to go abroad -- both countries have a large (and expensive) domestic scene.

Over the years, however, I came to the realization that the GoGo bars are also a money pit. Worse, the value is not there anymore for me. Over the past 5 years or so, it became quite clear to me that this venue had become way overpriced, damn the eye candy. I would still visit the Lord in Bangkok when it was open, but at least I didn't leave an arm and a leg at the club, buying drinks and then paying a barfine. Luckily, I am still able to find eye candy in other mongering venues, and there are plenty in both Bangkok and Pattaya.

Gogo girl in most cases can be had for 2500 and the barfine if you negotiate. Bar girls are now asking 2500 in most cases. So in reality the prices are pretty close. Forget about smooci or using the agency's because you'll never get the girl in the photos to show up at your door and a professional attitude to boot. So in Bangkok I don't find much of a difference in the price. They are high but if you decide to stay in BKK then gogo's are your best option.

I'm curious if any of you know of any bar / lounges in BKK that operate in the same fashion / style as Kinaree and other gentlemen's clubs in Pattaya. That is to say, they're mostly daytime / early evening clubs that have a relaxed atmosphere where you can hang out as long as you want, offer food / drink and have rooms on the premises to enjoy a bit of horizontal refreshment from the freelancers. I did a search on this thread and it came up empty.
