Hoping to go in Feb, thanks.[/QUOTE]Thats cutting it very close, especially on Spirit, and if they sell you the ticket, in other words your taking another flight with Spirit and you miss your connection then it would be on them to put you on the next flight to MDE but it might be the next day.

Spirit sucks and the only time I will fly with a 1 hour layover is if it's on COPA coming from LAX to PTY and they are very much on time and used to have multiple daily flights to PTY to MDE so there would be other flights available the same day.

My advice is don't chance it with Spirit with such a small layover time, albeit they may be selling you the ticket. Also if your connecting flight isn't in the same terminal it may take a while to transit at FLL it's a hassle as I experienced flying on Jetblue in November having to go to a different terminal for my connecting flight, however I had a two hour layover.

The only problem is if your flight to FLL is delayed. If it gets in a half hour late you will still make it to MDE if you move fast thru the terminal.

FLL is a small airport. 10 minutes tops once you get off the plane and walk to your next boarding station. You should be fine.

So, I land in Medellin from Cartagena at around 8:30 pm. I've been living in Medellin for a couple of months now, and II only went to Cartagena for the long weekend, and I've missed me some fo that easy Medellin access. So I get home, shower, change, and what do I do? I head to La Isla.

Now, it's my first time in La Isla. But I wanted to go big after the Cartagena frustrations, so why not. I get there, and the place has more women than chairs. I mean, wow.

To get to the main story: this chick comes by, and starts flirting. While we're sitting, the chick that was just dancing on stage comes by, asks for a tip. I dig into the pocket, and the smallest bill is a 5 mil. I pay it. The dancer leaves. Then I go back to talking to the chick that was with me. I decide I don't want to go with her. Is she my type? More or less, yes. She's thin, with some ass. That's what I like. But she's a little advanced in the years, so I tell her "sweetheart, I don't wish any company now. Comes back, feels better but the dose of shame and regret falls upon her. Begins saying how much she's ashamed, how this never happened to her. I comfort her, tell her it's nothing, relax.

Then the kicker comes. How old do you think I am? I say Ii don't know, 31 maybe? (I'm lying course). She says babe, I'm old enough that I have a daughter who works here. My ears perk up. Daughter, you say? We go back to the main lounge, and I insist that she pint out her daughter. She doesn't want to do it, because not many people know about that, and her daughter is embarrassed by it. But I get it out of her nonetheless, and she points out her daughter.

I don't have a huge mother / daughter fantasy. But what an opportunity to say "I've banged a mother and a daughter in the same night once". I am a mortal, after all. So after the daughter I go.

The daughter was sweet as sugar. Definitely her mother's daughter--same facial mannerisms, and even more sweet. She doesn't have her mother's bed game, but god is she sweet? And great vivacious personality too, just makes you happy to be with her. BTW, mother is 40; daughter is 21.

I haven't had time to read the last several pages, but I will give a quick update:

Arrived at MDE from PTY.

Migracion wanted to see passport and checkmig form. He asked my where I'm staying and for how long.

That was it. Nothing about PCR.

I saw on FB that a guy recently arrived and they told him they would begin the PCR or Quarantine restriction on Jan 12, but I have not had any time to verify that.

Back in heaven but with a fucking gong show of an apartment. They fucking place didn't even have pillows! They rushed to get it "ready" and the owner supposedly didn't know it's condition. I slept 3 hours since Sunday, going into last night, thanks to Spirit Airlines. All I wanted was a decent night sleep, and I arrived to no pillows, the loudest A / see in the world, no blinds / drapes, a mattress that feels like the floor, and a blanket that feels like a rug. Good times. Jacuzzi was almost overflowing with water and had shit all over the seats / bottom.

I sent a huge list of requests and said if it can't be done by tomorrow (toque de queda) to return my money and I'll find another place. Not a good start.

Seems like there is at least one three-day weekend every month, probably more than that since I believe the number of holidays is in the upper teens, not verified.
