Let me begin by saying that I am not expert. I wish we had more usefully reports and less chatter. Finding girls.

If you need help a motorcycle guide will help for 30 to 50 dong. Also don't hesitate to go to a spa. Even if it looks closed knock on the door you will probably get a response. Nha Trang is better than Ho ChI Minh if you have the time and it has a beach.

I had the unfortunate experience of missing my flight and with my girlfriend flying the previous day. I had to scurry back to HCM (near Benh Thanh market) for a hotel to stay and found one. This happened 3 weeks ago.

First, the hotel maintenance guy asked me if I wanted a girl for straight massage for 400,000 Dong. I wanted to tell him that my girlfriend and I paid 100,000 plus 60,000 (for each of us) for straight massage, in one of the open market streets of Benh Thanh market (you won't miss it as they have touts outside the parlor soliciting prospective clients). I'm also sure I could get more "service" if my girlfriend wasn't with me.

Second, I went for a walk since it was on a Saturday night along Phạm Hồng TháI, when an older man, slouching on his motorbike, asked me if I wanted a girl. "Mr. Vu or Du" offered to take me to various places where the girls are, for straight sex. I climbed on his bike and he took me to an apartment building, near another market, about 5 minutes away from the Notre Dame cathedral.

The ladies were between rated 3-5 and I was ready to leave when a girl came out (about 7-8). I asked for her and the charge was 520,000 which I "negotiated" (unless it's their bargaining tactic) down to 500,000. I was expecting sex but it turned out a BJ. So, I asked for full service which was turned down.

I told him that I will contact him tomorrow and gave him $2.00 to get lost.

There's never a shortage of touts or pimps asking if you wanted to have a good time, as most of you already know. The lesson I learned here is, I have to make it clear to the pimp (and madame) what I clearly wanted and so I won't get overcharged.

I found one guy that has a few places that are specifically ok to have guests stay over. The last place I just tried has super vigilant security and my visitor got stopped and had to register. Still ok, but best to avoid that situation if possible. Very embarrassing for her and me.

I usually try to qualify the Airbnb, if the house rules section mentions something about Vietnamese guests / prostitutes then I avoid. If it doesn't mention than that I usually email the owner and ask if it's possible that my Viet girlfriend may come to visit one night and judge from there what their response is. Yes it's not the booking part, its the on site security at most places that would be the issue. Some would likely enforce the "No Viets allowed to stay with foreigner" rule. Also some owners live in the same block as their Airbnb rental so I'm sure if they see you come back with a hooker from Bui Vien they would not take to kindly to that. Best to research as much as possible up front before booking, but overall it is a good option to have a nice place without all the hassles that goes with the more luxury hotels.

For something different. Chill Skybar is a great club, highest rooftop bar in HCMC. Its expensive and is mainly for locals and expats having fun, but there were definitely some high end WGs hanging around. Very pretty and dressed to impress, but I bet it would be significantly more than at Apocalypse. I didn't check, since I had company, but maybe in the future.

I just booked an Airbnb with 2 "guests". They required me to type in the names and emails of my guests. I was just being upfront about bringing 2 "guests" and am willing to pay the extra cost but that triggered the inquiry.

Anyway, I just wrote their first names since I do not know their last names and will not ask them, they may back out. I also wrote my own email on both inquiries. So far, so good. We'll see if the owner pushes for more info or is a nosey person.

I do not know if this is an Airbnb policy ever since the much published horror stories of renters throwing parties and / or trashing the renters' places OR a standard procedure or if it's a feature / option for the owners.

I did remembered once, I rented a place near Lotte mall / Gimpo airport for less than 24 hours (it was an overnight flight). The owner sent a guy to deliver the wifi password which was unexpected, five hours after I arrived (I didn't even asked the owner as I was busy working with my notes). I have to let him in since he has to set it up. I do not know if this was just an innocent incident or he was sent to make sure I was alone, no parties, no trashing or mess.

This is the "risk" that you may have to encounter with airbnb.

I'm feeling guilty that I only take but not share experience so now it is my turn to give back to the community.

I was in HCMC at the beginning of February for about a week and visited few interesting places. Before that I made my research here at internationalsexguide so thanks to all brothers who shared the tips. The next few lines are for those of you that are planning a trip to HCMC and are wondering where to go, how much it costs and what it will offer. Just remember. Lots of talk on the board about AirBNB. I've always stayed 5 star with a restaurant and managed to meet the girl at the restaurant and scurry her up to my room.
