Behind this crowd you will see a small row of stalls. One of them will likely be open and sell sim cards. I'm not sure 24 hrs but I have always topped up my mpesa on arriving there at all sorts of hours.

So my flight got pushed up an extra two days so I'm in Nairobi wanted to know if any fellow mongers are in town and wanting to go do some exploring.

Delayed arrival, but it was still early at 5 am. The SafariCom store was open. Bought only data for $10 USD and I'm still ok because I use wifi whenever I have the chance. To this day, I haven't added anything to M-PESA or went to the ATM. I brought $200 USD with me and only recently exchanged $100 to shillings. Great exchange rate at the bank. Higher than listed online. Cards are widely accepted so that has been my go to.

I'm not a hard core monger. I've had my days. No judgement to anyone else, but I like to establish somewhat of a connection. The sex is that much more enjoyable for me.

I arrived last Friday. Got settled into my condo in Kileleshwa and took a nap. Later that night, I went to The Alchemist around 9 pm and it was extremely early for activities. I had a burger and a beer then went to the upstairs bar with some strong ass drinks. I had two old fashions and sipped slow.

So, if I'm spending money, I'm definitely expecting not only high quality, but high effort. The apps are the way to go, but even with that said you still have to put in some work so you are not wasting your time or not getting the experience you desire.
