My comment here was within the context of the current discussion. We have recently had posters who claim that, by paying inflated prices to pimps who will arrange an all-inclusive holiday, they are somehow safer than the rest of us from scams and legal action. The case quoted by Parkinson and the Cuba Dave affair is more evidence of a changing climate whereby these banana republics are (spasmodically) going after those who facilitate prostitution and advertise its availability, no doubt prompted by the US State Department who are their puppet-masters. So the opposite may be the case.

As a result, clients at such locations will be sitting ducks if the authorities do decide to raid. In such a decreasingly unlikely event, do you think that they would overlook the presence of illegal substances? This would only strengthen and justify their action, as did the alleged presence on an under-aged girl when CMP was raided. It would also be a much easier charge to secure a cut-and-dried conviction, and one on which the imprisoned person could expect no help from their consulate.

I was not thinking of those smoking privately in discreet "civilian" locations.

The #1 monger / hotel establishment in Medellin Colombia (think Blackbeards in Medellin) was actually raided by militants who held the gringos as hostages but thankfully let them go after extorting money and multiple trips to the ATM. These were not random bandits but people with automatic rifles and organizations with access to combat helicopters and ability to take on the Colombian government. When you stay at such places who openly advertise themselves as famous sex resorts you expose yourself to gangsters as well. This establishment was also been visited by 'honest' local police who searched through guests' rooms, luggage, etc. Looking for weed, drugs, etc. During the time I was there. Personally I am not fazed but I agree that smaller establishments are at lower risk of raids by local gangsters and officials (same thing really).

Wondering anyone has any advice on travel from punta cana to sosua. I m considering flying in on Christmas day which may pose an issue on it s own. Has anyone done the trip recently or have info / contacts for different options for transportation?

At best, you have to take 2 buses, one to Santo Domingo and the next to Sosua, loose a day in travel and arrive exhausted or take an extra night in the capital. By the way Christmas time in Sosua is better to be avoided.

My 8 pm cancel but problem. Found a willing sw. She gave good service. Excellent BJ. Afterwards I visited I visited a casa. 4000 pesos in house. I got to say the quality was excellent. All were 7 or above. I was in bed by 12 and sitting in Caribe tours To 5 amm.

Delete her ass and don't talk to her ass anymore. What happened to all the internet chicas you were setting up pre-trip? A veteran going to SD and paying around 6 k pesos for a SW and Casa girl? Damn.

I've learned the hard way that you need to have back up, and back ups for.

Those back ups, and back ups for those former back ups as well.

I try to have them visit me around 2 pm, so if by 3 I have serious doubts then the back up gets triggered!! And if that seems doubtful or complicated the next one gets triggered.

It's always something. Rain, baby sitter or don't have money to come etc etc!

It really requires patience for GFE's and like a sales guy you need to read the tea leaves, and think fast on your feet!
