Hmmm, you must be packing! Don't feel bad, I had the same thing happen to me before but just I just took it in stride and moved on to the next place. There are so many Anmas in Korea, they can't all refuse you. Also the policy at some of these places depends a lot on who is on duty. You can be denied entry one day only to be allowed in the next day.

how i ended up there. just pure dumb luck. i was up early one morning from a sleepless night so i figureded i check these scene at itaewon at around 5am ish. i was walking around and was on the side of the street whee every building i passsed by someone would peek their head out the door and motion me in. i didn't do it the first round because it caught me off guard. i walked back the same rows of buildings and walked into the first person that motioned me in (probably a newbie move).

as far as i can tell she was the only one in the building. i bought a beer and ended up paying for a 20, 000won drink. again, i was caught off guard so i probably made every newbie mistake. anyhow she looked fantastic and was super friendly. fast forwarding after the deed i hung out a bit and we chatted for about 20-25 minutes. she was actually really nice and did i mention looked friggin hot.

anyway as i said before just dumb luck. i read your post and nearly jumped out of my seat.

i hear itaewon has the lowest quality women but if they are anything like her you all have nothing to worry about.

oddly enough i can't remember the name of the club i met her at. i think it was called nymph.

Another great BBBJCIM at Eve Bar. I said it was halfway up The Hill in my last post but it's actually the first bar on the left.

I walked by ABC bar but it looked closed. Maybe the girl(s) were servicing someone at the time. Also, that Jimjilbang you mentioned looks like a swank joint, I need to check that out sometime!

Can anyone recommend which bars are good for non-pros/semi-pros in Itaewon? Some buddies of mine met a couple of hot Russian girls in Hard Rock Cafe, they said they were students but after seeing these girls that's hard to believe. I've been to Spy Bar multiple times because I've been told that Russian and Brasilian models hang out there but everytime I've gone ther it's been dead. There were a few hot Filipinas in Geckos tonight but there was a line of guys waiting to talk to them. I've been to Helios and wasn't impressed. So who can recommend the best bar in Itaewon for non pro pickups. I think Brain666 has posted about this before but that was a while back.

I have the impression that Itaewon has some less night guests overall. I remember it was always week in the first weeks of a year, but this year it is some kind more less.

In the past Helios was one of the best potential pickup points - but as usual there were good and bad days and it’s all about you and the girl to 'click' (ha usually in life). I share your opinion that the situation in Helios for potential pickups has deteriorated, if not to say significantly deteriorated. I believe it's because they raised the price too much - now 10.000 Won entrance fee also for girls and reduced the possibility of getting a 3000 Won 0,5l beer or 15.000 Won 3l pitcher as in the past. This drives the girls away - especially the ones with lower budget and also the ones more open to an experience. Subsequently the guys frequent less too. I am also going way less frequent now and while from around 23:00h- 1:00h it was packed in the past, it's now probably around 60% of the people as before.

It seems to me that Gecko's picked a lot of the crowd, which frequented Helios before. I recognize many known 'Helios' faces and of course subsequently the guys show up in higher numbers as well.
Gecko's has also a lot of foreign crowd, more white colored then black colored. Basically it is also a hang out/ meeting point for lots expat family members and their crowds. You can occasionally find an open-minded foreign teacher 'in search for some dick' (not obviously of course). But it is well known that due to the guys have it relatively easy with Korean girls, the single western females suffer and have drastically to reduce their high pride selfish standards they come in town with to just 'core needs' after some time here - so if you don't mind you could fulfill such core needs.

But also the girls who are open for pickup are there - but also don't show it so easy. And the guys seem to feel more hesitant to approach those girls, as they seem to feel uncomfortable with so many other foreigners around. Probably some don't want to be seen hunting and in Gecko's its also more risky to meet co worker’s, friends, foreign neighbors there etc.. At least that’s my 2 cts from the scenery.
The f/m ratio varies and there are good days/ hours with good number of females and rather low number of guys, but situation can change each hour from female dominated to a male dominated crowd. But in general Gecko’s is way more crowded now.

Which time have you been there? I have to admit that I wasn't in SPY for more then 4 months now, but I recall that spy isn't crowded before at least 2:00h. Before its empty.

I am lacking good recommendation as well. Recently I had some good 'talks' (not all talks will necessarily bring success, but they can provide useful contacts for later) in B-one (around the corner from KFC at the Hamilton Hotel shopping mall). Other opportunities may be still JJMahoneys in Hyatt. I may need to revisit there.
The rest may just be occasions. I discovered that in the second alley are more new Bars now. I may check this more out.

It's good to know that the Hooker Hill is always a potential backup for releasing stress in case all efforts fail.

No joy at the Imperial Palace anma. I walked down from the hotel to the intersection where the sushi restaurant is and saw an anma in a building diagonally across on the top floor. Walked up there but no foreigners allowed.

Tried to locate the anma near Ewha station but no luck. Is it on the main street or on one of the side streets?

Would like to ask the board to recommend any parlors or anmas which offer more than one girl. I have yet to find a good anma to report on.

there are lots of legitimate massage places with just shorts as attire in seoul. one decent place is located next to the finance building in kwanghwamun up in the hotel ( i believe the new kukje hotel). they have the typical suana but with private rooms for massage. hj's are also available and you'll get one hell of a therapeutic beating in there. prices are about 90k.

Thanks! , Candy works at I belive a place called "The sex shop" She might have been joking though. I never checked. Walking up. it will be on the left, half way up. It's all I remember, sorry.
