Observations of an American in Europe
I'm posting this here because I'm not sure where to post it.
I was in the US last week on business, and had a little free time, so I went to a popular American site, eros.com, (I used the eros-ny.com section since I was in New York) to see if I could hook up with an attractive and willing lady.
I was stunned.
The first ad I read was that of Giselle, a very pretty young lady of 25 years old who describes herself as a combination of german and brasilian stock. To judge by the pictures she is, seriously, very pretty: great ass, what look to be very nice, un-enhanced tits. Beautiful olive skin.
She wanted 500 dollars for what was called a "one-hour introduction."
Are you fucking kidding me?!?! Giselle is, as I said, very attractive. She has, as I said, a great ass and nice, olive skin. But $500 is, by the current exchange rate, 346 euro, which is over four times the rate that I paid just a month ago for a girl who called herself Gulcan, who worked at Samya in Cologne until recently, to give me a nice, long deep blowjob and, along with a friend of hers, whose name I unfortunately cannot recall, lick my ass for nearly and hour, after which she allowed me to fuck both her and her friend deeply while they kissed me passionately, shoving their tongues nearly to my tonsils. Seriously. 150 euro for an hour of pleasure that I will probably remember for the rest of my life. Needless to say, they were both at least as hot as Giselle.
What the fuck is wrong with America? As an American, I don't know. It's a country that seems to extol sex as a virtue--watch any cable late-night channel to get a feel for it--and yet when it comes to actually fulfilling the desires it stokes, it seems to say that if you're a millionaire you can get your willy off, but everyone else is only allowed to watch.
I'm fairly certain that you could, for 50 euro on the rue d'aerschot in Brussels, get better service than nearly anywhere in the United States for 500 dollars. (The one exception perhaps being strip clubs in Detroit, where I have been offered, and accepted, a blowjob for 100 bucks.) (But even that does not compare to the tamest European red light district)
None of this has a point, I guess, except to say that I cannot wait to get back to my beloved Europe, not only for the sex, but also for the sense of proportionality. The sense that while, yes, sex is good and wonderful and a real enhancement of the human condition, it is not priceless.
