Wedding gifts in the phils
Giving money is much more functional than giving useless gifts like we do in Australia.
And when the couple will be living in one or other of the parents house, there will generally not be the space for storing such gifts.
So money is best.
My own experience was at a Filipino wedding reception. The married couple have the first dance and you tape some money on one or the other if you want to cut in on the dance. Sorry for not posting a pic. Hey Nolz7, there is a photo "comment" thread. Anyway, we both owe a picture.
Sad. I hope he stays away. Saves Jackson work and (possibly) aggravation.

Happy Easter from The Philippines
I hate Easter in The Philippines. Everything closes down for 2 days. The only things that opens are churches, some fast food outlets and my current squeezes legs!
I am presently enjoying the attentions of one of the bonny, little fillies in the photo. Rode her hard and fast yesterday and in a tight run finish, she got home by a head!
No, I am not turning into a zoophile.
