In reality, I do want something long term but would be shocked if I fell in love with a girl less than half my age with such significantly different life experiences than I've had. Clearly I can't do pull the type of talent in New York than I get in Africa.

Anyhow. The pre-trip prep is always fun for me; making sure I have correct visas, picking flights, Airbnb, reading this forum and of course sifting through the girls that I want to meet. I show interest online, tell them they are beautiful and connect through WhatsApp. Easy. Most respond. I flirt with multiple ones, get them to send more pics and a video here and there and then arrange a call through what's app.

All good. With the Kenyans, each would be dressed up or looking their best, with the Ghanaians, none seem to make any effort prior to the video call. They don't look nearly as good as their pictures (putting aside the fact that there are many more good looking Kenyans than Ghanans). I get asked for money, the Tinder profile pic changes to a man's; it's like Kenyans are sweet country girls and Ghana's are hard core-scammers by comparison.

I'm not leaving for two weeks and yet my expectations are much lower.

East Africa is so much further away and short of flying business in Kenyan airlines which cost big $ from NYC it's 10+ hours longer 😞.

Thoughts from guys who know both?

Next Door is a beach retreat on the La Teshi Beach Road. It is on Google Maps, between Laboma and Teshie.

It is a restaurant bar (club is temporarily closed) built on a rocky beach that had known better times before: part of it is dilapidated, such as a still visible bungalows reception on the sea.

Prices are lower than Laboma but higher than Coco Beach.

The food looks great, but I didn't test it.

What has captured my attention was a massage parlor beside the restaurant, where I went to enquire about the prices: massage 150 Ghs, happy ending 100 or 150, depending on the choice. The performance was satisfactory. Closed on Monday.

For the rest, on an ordinary day, I have seen some lonely girl studying at the computers (but it is difficult to find where to plug it and you have to provide your WiFi, they have not), or group of two, three mates, only blacks. On Sunday, this venue looks almost lively with various sorts of guests, from families to single and lonely people, ratio blacks vs whites 8 to 1.

Damn! Thats discouraging! I'm in the throws of planning my first week in sub-Saharan Africa in a very long time. I'll be coming from Athens, but was targeting Ghana as my primary hunting ground. Really looking for sweet young 18-22 yrs, not fat, and not with saggy tits from babies. Your experience on tinder is not sounding very good. I have done Kenya not so long ago and really wanted to try a country with dark-skinned young ladies readily available.

Maybe I need to reassess my plans?

Hope that other members can provide some guidance. It's not a cheap flight and I want great experiences in pick up bars and brothells, maybe play the online game, but I find it tiring.

Don't take my comments the wrong way Steel (great name BTW).

I have 4 women lined up who seem sweet interested, 24 or younger whom I sure will deliver well- only one with a child.

If I was to do it again I wouldn't start conversations a month+ ahead of time. Two weeks is plenty. The longer you chat the more you realize you don't actually have a lot in common with them and the more likely they feel comfortable about asking for $ - before you even visit. If you want real Ghanian experience, try Kumasi, Tamale, Or even better Volta region (Poorest region in Ghana).

I had girls from Nigeria, Sierra Leaone and Liberia. Personally Nigerian type are my fav, So Ghana is a perfect spot for me.

Oxford St, Osu after 7 is full of WG, usual go rate 150, max 200. ($1 USD = 13 GHC).

On my next trip, I am going to venture into rural areas.

.[/QUOTE]Not from Europe. A ticket to Kenia is about half then to Accra: in general, air fares to Ghana are ridicolous high: 1000 EU eco class average.

In addition: the visa procedure is complicated and expensive: 120 EU.

Hotel prices are high: a simple Ibis Hotel charges 150 EU / night.

Its not a country welcoming tourists. Even a 10 EU ST fuck does not make the trip in total value for money. Many other African countries are much better for our hobby.

Was there in late 2023.

I stayed in Accra in Osu not far from Oxford Street and was surprised what was going on at the street at the late daytime or in the night. Though I knew it before cause of reading here. Lot of nigerians and a few ghanaians, take your time and make your choice and do not accept the first rate or the second. If this is not your preferred way to get in contact, you can go directly to hotgossip night club not far away. When I remember correctly it opens at 10 pm till. Prices starts high but nobody says you have to accept their offers. A matter of negotiation. Found my nigerian Lady, nice attitudes, had some times with her at my place.

Accra has a lot of clubs, bars, places where you can take a look. Mostly I saw them in groups, so a bit difficult to get in. On a Sunday I was at Labadi Beach, directly at the entrance (you have to pay a small entrance fee) some Ladies where talking to me and exchanging numbers for later actions. The beach itself was too crowded and noisy for me. Tried other beach places but I wasn't happy with them. My main problem there was that the activities in clubs started not really before Friday till Sunday (Sunday just a bit). So you have to be prepaired with numbers to fullfill your mission during the week. Was also at Lizzy's Container like Roman Guy, was my "Office" to have an afternoon Beer and planning the next steps. While there watching the street scene. Keep in mind the traffic when you plan your activities around town. I was using Bolt, no problems with it.

Kumasi is different to Accra, also busy but different. Same problem here, the party starts not really before Friday. Was at a Wednesday in Emperor Night Club, empty, empty. Just a few ladies which are not at my hunting list. Can't suggest the one and only Club or Pub, I saw some but in my opinion nothing special.

Had also some contacts before over Afro (lot of Ghana fakes) and met some for a harmless coffee. With 3 of them I had a nightdate. Most contacts are from direct talking in Ghana at different places.

Prices for the ladies where different, most expensive was 600 for the night.

I was talking to the hotel crew and some Bolt driver about the safety situation, in generell it is ok. Beside that there are the usual rules, not wearing bling bling stuff or the heavy wallet with you.

As someone mentioned it. I was flying with Ethiopian Air over Addis Abeba from Germany and was paying something around 800.
