I have been to Brazil quite a few times and to FKK in Germany many many times.

Never been to Thailand. I have 3 days in a near by country and plan to swing by.

What is the best place to start. So many messages (I did RTTF).

Is it better to go to Bangkok or Pattaya? Mongering is the only reason. No need for tourism value.

What are the good hotels that are girl friendly. Is there a fees to be paid?

In the soapy massages are they full service. In 2 hours how many sessions can be done?

The soicow. Is this just a strip / go-go bar. Or like Brazil there are rooms at the club. Or only take out?

Can you some one please a basic steps of enjoying this place. I am also going alone.

I have never tried 7-Heaven but it sounds similar to Bit Style down the small sub soi on the left past the Holiday Inn on Sukhumvit Soi 22. I wasn't a fan of that place and not sure if it is still open. I don't remember if they required payment upfront, too. But (yeah, here comes the grousing about Pay Upfront. lol) it is interesting that the only one of your venues that seemed to "play games" with the time vs the sales pitch about a second shot and for which you related a rather dismissive and clumsy/unthinking/assembly line send off at the end was the one BJ Bar that required you to Pay Upfront. LOL. Coincidence? I'm betting no.

I know you plan to report more specifically on the girls in a later post. But I think your trip in recent weeks might have missed the time a few months back when there were actually several good body and pretty face girls working each of the shifts at Kasalong Bar, L0litas and (formerly) Som's Haven. I walk past the first two quite often and have not seen the 3-4 better lookers that used to work those bars in a few months. These days there might be one girl in each bar between the day and night shifts who would struggle past a generous 5 in terms of her body, IMHO. And, possibly similar to you, I thought the line up at Som's new place was somewhat scary looks-wise.

When the girls in those BJ Bars do sport some slim or decent shaped bodies and attractive faces (as several did up to a few months ago), I would disagree with you on that analogy about ordering lamb-shank at a fried chicken joint. The fact that a girl knows her way around a penis well enough to give it good or better oral treatment does not disqualify her in the boom boom department, imo. Rather, it portends a potentially better one as far as I am concerned. I have had several very satisfying Full Service experiences in each of the three BJ Bars I cited above in the past.

By the same token, I believe many guys think go-go dancers and beer bar girls are not good at or more often refuse to deliver a good BBBJ+CIM. But this has definitely not been my experience. Very recent case in point was a girl I barfined from Hillary 4 on Soi 4 within the past week (shockingly, there have lately been 2-3 very doable girls working in Hillary 4 during the DAY!) and a bathtub go-go dancer I barfined at Billboard in Nana Plaza just last night. Just to clarify, my reference about post deed events at 7-Heaven was only to illustrate the apparent lack of tipping expectation / pressure and my impression of the holding pattern in operation in reception. I certainly didn't wish to imply that there was anything "dismissive / clumsy / unthinking" about it. In addition, Wood is also pay up front which I omitted from the report (my bad).

For what it is worth, I'd theorise that the pay after mode works better for generating tips, because the customer has to get their wallet out after the deed to pay at the counter. Also I'd warrant that a significant proportion of customers pay their THB 800 with a THB 1,000 note, meaning the customer has 2 x THB 100 notes in their hand and a choice of either putting them in their wallet / pocket or into the hand of the operative.

With pay upfront the hopeful operative has to overcome the customer's psychological barrier of fishing their wallet / money out of their pocket for the sole reason of tipping said operative.

I am also going alone.[/QUOTE]Best place to start, probably one of the longer running massage parlors that are generally recommended here such as Snow White, Cherry Massage, and Addict Massage, for a first go. Its quick, easy, reasonably priced, and no obligation if you go in and don't like the lineup, you just go to a different one. They're also open all day and until midnight or so usually so you can go whenever. This would be 2 hours in a room with the girl, generally at least 2 pops.

Bangkok or Pattaya is a constant debate, I think Bangkok is better and offers all the same as Pattaya and more. Others will argue different.

Soapy massage is full service for generally 1.5 or 2 hours. There's a lot of them, Tulip is the most famous one remaining and great to start and high mileage, but again there's a lot of them.

Soi Cowboy is a short street with strip clubs, they're not really actual strip clubs, but its a close enough comparison, you'll see, its just a place you can watch them dance and find one you like It's pretty much all takeout. You find a girl you like, pay a "bar fine" that is a fee to take her (600-1000 baht) then you can go with her and pay whatever her actual rate is for services and then and do whatever, short time or long time. Nana Plaza is another area like this.

I WANT the girl to know a decision will be made later about tipping her or not. Even better if she also knows a decision can more easily be made to pay anything at all if she behaves particularly badly and contrary to the sales pitch.

It has been years since I last went to Wood Bar! (formerly Dr. BJ's Salon). As I recall my only repeat provider there was the original Dr. BJ's Salon super star, EE. Hmm. I wonder if she would have been as dismissive about that with a good, repeat, generous customer (I still always tipped her even though it was Pay Upfront, except for that last time), a mistake in her way of handling the situation that turned him into a never return customer even lo these many years later if her shop had been Pay After instead of Pay Before. Couldn't make a choice on location where I'm staying. Got stuck with the Asia Hotel. Anyone have any feedback / thoughts / comments? Wondering if it's a guest friendly kind of place. Realize I'll probably find out after day one of observing.

Girls might not want to go with you if your hotel is that far away. I suggest you look for a hotel around BTS station Nana or Asok. Then you are close to NEP (Nana Entertainment Plaza) and Soi Cowboy.

Seems it works differently for you so I guess its swings and roundabouts.

Much better looking girls (and place) then at the average BJ bar. As far as I know it's still open. I always pay upfront there and I never got bad service. However I don't know if they insist on payment upfront. I never asked them if I could pay afterwards.

At the Wood Bar / Dr BJ I have always paid afterwards, when I was still going there. I'm surprised to read here that people had to pay upfront.
