I thought Delhi was ment to be "rocking" so to speak>? I thought with the boom of employment levels,dispposible income etc etc etc. Ideal

As Brain666 put it, it would be naive to expect a girl from Buzz/ Shalom/ Mojo etc. to come back to a $20-30 a night hotel. That's not saying that it is impossible, but certainly improbable, IMHO. However, these are great nightclubs and a good place to chill out. Picking up girls from these joints depends on luck as well as personal style. There are always some freebies available along with pro's at these joints. So, good luck, and do post your experience out here.

If you are looking for working girls, those are hard to find. General women looking for a good time are all over. There are many many pubs/bars all over town, depends on where you decide to stay. For the budget you have decided, you will get crap nothing more. Delhi hotels are not cheap, and if I have to guess, your best bet to match your burdget will be Paharganj where al the backpackers stay.

Came here looking for some guru to take me under his wing and show me the way around the Delhi mongering scene.

Just got back from Dubai and I thought i'd check what the ladies have to offer in here. The scene sure doesnt compare to what's on offer in Dubai, but I wasnt expecting it either. Am finding it tougher here to get gals.

All I had to do in Dubai was show that I was carrying oodles of money with me and the birdies came calling. Here, it seems they're only attracted to the goras.

So tell me enlightened Delhiites... how difficult is it for a dark skinned indian monger out on his own to get his choice of women? Would it help if I were to tag along with one of our many caucasian friends??

Unfortunately, there is a higher chance of you getting laid if you are caucasian. This holds true for both P4P and freebies across India. You can certainly get your choice of women but from a limited selection. Hanging out with your white buddies will certainly get you more attention. India is most definetely not a mongering destination and you will find it a huge disappointment after Dubai, Mumbai is pretty bad and Delhi is even worse. Yet people do get laid, so go with an open mind and low expectations and be safe :).

If you need success and you try to push, you might probably fail at all.

As Aqua said, go with no expectations, be gentle, nice and smart. Its true that the best ones might prefer foreigners, but it does not mean that foreigners will automatically have sucesss and you not. Also they have to be smart with lowest expectations.

India is definitely not a mongering place. Throwing around the money does not necessarily help much, but enough should be there anyhow. In thze pocket.
But there is almost no country in the world where you can't get laid. Thats the positive side. Its a matter of efforts.

Sure, Delhi is not Dubai, and the prices (yet!) aren't either (thankfully, though they are shooting with every time a beatific monger is either content or conned!!).

That apart, if you persevere, please go through the ToI and HT classifieds (these are the most current). There is a range, both in quality as well as price, available there to suit your requirement. And, no, you don't need to be a gora to get a fine chick; you need to show your money either.

Call up the ads, check a few out. Then please do post a summary of your experience.
