Shit can ugly out of nowhere and fast. And don't forget, markets started crashing on August 5th due to Japan and it's policy of zero interest. Once Japan decides to start raising interest rates, all economies will crash, August 5th is proof of that.

Enough economics, I spent a good portion of August and September in Pattaya and BKK. The girls in Pattaya were desperate and the girls I would meet would constantly text me to repeat, at a level I never experienced before. It's a sign of things to come in the future.

And yes, I only go to Thailand in low season, there's a few months of high season and then the same girls will be sexting again. Rinse wash and repeat.

1- Lady drinks more often than not have alcohol. Sometimes when the girl doesn't want to drink she will ask a soda or orange juice, very rarely you'll see a fake drink (water instead of tequila for example).

2- Getting hands on down at the bar really depends on the girl and the location. Do not expect it much to happen in open air bars of course. The best place for that is a dark corner in a dim gentlemen's club. The ladies that are most likely to get raunchy are usually the ones who have been in the business a long time. The new ones can be shy and not do much.

3- Having a freelancer hang out with you (for "free" really depends on what kind of guy you are. If you're young, fun and give them a good vibe they'll likely take the initiative and invite you as soon as the drinking / party subject comes up. If you're a grumpy old man that just appears to try to get the most of every situation then it's unlikely they'll want to spend any extra minute with you after the deed is done. If they think you have money there is also the possibility they'll just invite you over and later ask you to pay for the drinks (which can include several of her friends as well).

Remember back in 2008 when the economy collapsed when banks where really going under left and right that the end was here. Yet here we are. We now just got to navigate thru the "Weird WTF Is This", when it comes to the banks, economy etc like we did when covid turn everbodys life upside down. We'll be fine.
