I only had about an hour so I recently walked down a side street west of Temple Night market and saw all of the massage places with the neon lights offering a body massage for about $140HKD. I decided to try something new and chose one and went up the stairs and the receptionist was decent looking but spoke no English.
She told me the price I think of $140 and made a phone call. After I took a shower, she started giving me a massage for about 5-10 minutes until an older, less attractive girl came to give me a massage.
I tried to ask if I could keep her but through broken communication, I ended up agreeing to both of them massaging me for $250.
After about 20-30 min of the dual massage, they flipped me and as they were playing with it, asked for $600 total for a HJ. I was able to negotiate them down to $500.
Ends up being the same price as 37D or KP but I didn't have the time to make it up to one of those places and back. This was also 2 girls but only a HJ.
Is this standard pricing for the massage places?
I'll be heading back again soon and looking for a good, reasonable sauna. Any recommendations are appreciated.

With no answers in this forum about massage in wanchai, I decided to visit the red light district of Wanchai.
I finally finished in Escape which is crearly the best place in the street.
Lots of choice, very crowded but the airco is perfect and the band absolutely genial.

Given the economic situation in the world and all that...those prices sound high.
Maybe the guy didn't know to negotiate? Jack, I await your reports as I am going back to Hong Kong too but not until xmas.
I was in Hong Kong for a few days and wanted to relay my own experiences.
Hong Kong seemed full of hookers and not really many tourists. That is, every bar I went in, there were dozens of women standing around waiting. Maybe it was a slow week when I was there. I was literally almost dragged into one bar by very aggressive women. Not really that fun.
There weren't really that many streetwalkers as I had thought there would be, but since I was used to Tijuana perhaps this is not surprising. Instead, the majority of girls were waiting in their little bars/massage places.
Guys all seemed very relaxed, and in general there was a cameraderie about getting women, any women. Most of the native expatriats I met bragged about the woman ratio.
Maybe I just look it (fat white 30 year old guy), but everyone was trying to take advantage of me. Get all the money out of me. But they weren't as pushy as Tijuana. There weren't nearly as many beggars, or people asking for drinks, or so on. It was more relaxed. It was a LOT more expensive than Tijuana comparitively though.
I think because in Hong Kong everything is more expensive, this translated to women asking for more money.
I had my first massage, and I ended up paying a total of 400 for all the extras. Needless to say, I did not know what was expected and I sort of imagine the girl was thinking we'd just have sex or something. Instead I actually expected a massage. Then, when it came near the end of the hour I finally said sure and found out about the extras.
My other experience I picked a girl near the place I was staying. She quoted a price that was significantly lower than the prices other people are saying here. But I was in that place Tsim Sha Sui which I guess is the really poor/inexpensive place.
Wanchai, when I went there, was so obviously more high class/expensive. It seemed like that was the place to party.
I stress that I came to Hong Kong with not much money and looking at the girls was only a side project, for fun. It costs a lot of money to have the kind of fun others seem to be having on these forums. I think Tijuana, for the price, would be better for someone like me, but I could see how Hong Kong could be really wild.
I don't know, I'm a little ambivalent overall about Hong Kong. I came with little money and it was too expensive and while every girl was offering I could not really stand to spend the money they were asking.

Recently had an excellent experience at Phoenix gardens, 3/F, apartment I-1. I rang the bell, and heard commotion inside. When I used to live in LA, in bygone days, around the turn of the century, I was a regular in TJ.
I still think with affection of my visits in Adelitas, the Chicago Club and the Molino Rosso.
In Adelitas, I remember, you had to pay $10 for the room and $1 extra for the towel and soap.
I have forgotten how much the ladies were, but dirt cheap, compared even to my regular Korean gal in Uplands, whom I gave $60 + $40 for the massage every Wednesday afternoon.
For this, she even offered me her backdoor, spontaneously, without me even asking. Great fuck!
