I've had the best luck using the super rich on ratchamadri. If you set up a ride with nam taxi and mention stopping by this super rich she will allow payment to wait until you stop at super rich. 90% of the time this is the best rate. If your exchanging a large sum and using 100 dollar Bill's you can even request a slightly better rate. It don't seem like much difference but when exchanging 5 k usd it's a big multiplier.
P.S. Nam is a female taxi that is very courteous and safe. I've heard from some of nam not allowing them to do this. She always allows me to skip paying at airport. May be me repeated patronage. This allows a little more saving. Also a exchange rate site on internet that gives up to date exchange rates. I watch it pretty close and most of the time that super rich is the best.
This is a limo service right? I mean normal taxis are always paid at the end. So at first I found this statement rather confusing "She always allows me to skip paying at airport". Had to guess what that was meaning. What do you pay for Nam's service?
If you need to exchange money at the airport just go down to the Floor be, next to the rail link ticket machine there is several exchange booths like superrich, value+, etc with a very good exchange rate.
My experience too. But that time it was relatively cool outside but stifling inside. Maybe they did not have it set low enough on the assumption that since it was not hot outside there was no need to make it very cold inside.
Maybe its me but I always think its a sweat box with all those hot steaming bodies.

Me too

Pay at the destination always, never in advance (like many board members recommend for other services too).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VI3X_rU6vCs
Yes, the Superrich especially has a good reputation for the best rate, and do conversions in other currencies besides Baht. I stood behind an Aussie guy with his Vietnamese wife about to catch a connecting flight to VN. Apparently it was advantageous enough of a rate for them to clear customs and visit the Superrich counter to convert Aussie $ to US bucks. Yes, that's right. USD is the default currency of Vietnam and apparently he couldn't get a better rate back in Australia. That was one of the big surprises of my visit, fresh off the plane.

At BillboardBangkok.
A few hours ago Billboard posted a pic of one of their best on their Twitter feed. They call her Miss Donut. They don't often feature their hottest women there, IMO, my personal faves anyway, nowhere to be seen except at the club.

First timer in BKK
Hi guys,
Landing for the first time in BKK this week. Will be around to check out the city for the weekend. Will post about my escapades on my flight back. I have read through the forum and thank you all for your valuable inputs. Have an idea of where to head and what to expect. I had 2 questions. 1) First night I'll be heading out of my hotel around 11 pm (close to Nana BTS). Only thing on my agenda is picking up a chick and bringing her back to my hotel for ST. Where should I head? Thermae? Nana Plaza? Sois for freelancers? Smooci? Beer bars? 2) Any places with fish bowls like Pattaya or Bali?
Thanks for the help!

Why do people recommend exchanging money at airport for taxi? Seems like it would be recommended to stop by a better exchange place. I thought I found a nice loophole and it is the norm. I tried to find the post where the guy was saying that he had to pay before leaving airport but was unsuccessful. May of been on another site I follow.

May of been on another site I follow.
Sure most of us collect money at airport to pay the taxi, tolls, etc. Because we cannot be bothered to stop off at money exchange somewhere on the way to hotel (we are too impatient). I simply pull from ATM. I have Thai Bank account too. Normal taxi is 300 Baht or so. Less on quiet day.
Last arrival Bangkok on Sunday (quiet) so did not even have to pay any highway tolls getting off motorway early at Ramkhamhaeng and moving to Phetburi road (just before Ekkamai).
Actually I hardly ever do money exchange but found recently at a large shopping centre in Srinakarin "Seacon" the money exchange booth had a tiny difference between buy and sell rates for Euros and no change fee, so I was happy. It seems they make a very low amount per exchange. Yes I agree the airport exchange appears to have significantly more gap between buy and sell rates and often have an exchange fee as well. I got a really shit offer for some Indonesian left over notes recently. Not an expert on this topic because do it so rarely.
So yes I probably would not be exchanging a large amount at the airport like to receive 100 K baht. For a small amount exchanged, any small losses could be compensated by taking a cheap taxi.
I do appreciate that up to 50% of Bangkok Taxi drivers are extremely irritating though, with foot pumping up and down on the accelerator or continual alternating between brake and accelerate. I really hate those "formula one" types of driver, but also find drivers habitually in the wrong lane puzzling too. Perhaps I should offer driver a 100 baht tip if he can give a relatively smooth ride without pumping the foot up and down. I suspect it is so habitual though, as to become automatic, they won't be able to stop it.

Thanks for the help!
We can't tell you what you will like. You don't even say if you like skinny girls or voluptuous, silicone tits OK or not? Etc. You should try a variety. From handle I am going to guess you are a Farang (western guy not Asian). Could be wrong of course.
There are fishbowl soapy massage places, not right where you are and 11 PM is a bit too late for that, 6 PM being much better.
At 11 PM you are faced with trying Gogo bars, or Thermae or street walkers, or disco pickups.
Thermae has a lot of girls but favours Asian guys. I seem to get unlucky there and have not had any recent girls worth repeating. I also don't like how many girls are over dressed so hard to tell what the body is like. That is just me though. Beware of the Ladyboys standing outside Thermae. 11 PM is ideal for Thermae.
Of all the Nana Plaza bars, I think Billboard is the best, but I go for slim model types which they have a lot of. Beware of Ladyboys on the street and in some bars at NP. Do not go in DC10 for example. Butterflies okay.
If you want to see girls dancing naked, Soi cowboy has "5 star" suited to western guys with bad music (not much surgeries in there), and around the corner in Soi 23 is Crazy House with nude girls too. I used to like it, but quality went down hill, and more fake tits arrived. Baccarat in Cowboy is popular but not my sort of place. Doll House could be worth a try.
For cheap girls (not much quality), street walkers on Soi 4 west side in amongst the lady boys. Normally I don't bother with them. Not many good experiences.
Try some massage places next day in the day time or early evening.

Maybe she has a good body (like most of them), I don't know. You must realise that not all of the best girls are willing to be in pics. Sometimes the ugliest girls willing to be photographed. I don't see No. 810 in the pics either, despite looking clearly superior last time I was there. Sorry don't know her name.
"they want to ring your bell" No thanks no for me. They will post photos of the least good looking at times.

Too much to try.

As per my preference of girls. I like trying different type of girls based on my mood. Don't have a type. 1 thing I want to cross off my list this visit is an older Thai lady / MILF. So will be on the lookout for those.
I am only there for a short while so will have to properly plan in advance to fit in as many places as possible.
Been reading about Thermae's preference to Asian guys so I'm inclined to avoid it and try one of the Go Go Bars on the first night. I've tried go go bars in Pattaya and found them to be more expensive than freelancers at say a disco, with the quality at par. Will try in Bangkok and see if my opinion changes.

Soapy Massage Places

Ralph Kramden here. It has been a long time since visiting the board (a girlfriend thing). I tried to message you but you don't accept them. Please tell me briefly, is it true that most all or all of the soapy massage places on Ratchadapisek have been closed down? I read the thread but all the talk is about Snow White. Many thanks.
