Unlike my other long Lima Trip Reports, I just wanted to provide an update on some of the venues in Lima.

El Trocadero:

After my fifth trip to Lima, I finally made it to the place. It was around 9 on Saturday night. The parking lot was packed. My Uber driver asked me, "Are you sure you want to go in this place?" I replied, "Why not?

Cover was 10 soles. The place was really busy because most of the doors were shut and only a few chicas had their doors open. I asked a few and they said either 30 or 40 soles for 30 minutes.

To me, the place seemed like a two story dungeon with red lighting. Also the place was quite filthy. I'm not a prude by any means, but the place was just damn filthy. The girls I talked to were not worth my time or effort. And maybe it was because all of the better looking chicas were busy?

Either way, if you are in this hobby, the place is a must see!

Las Cucardas:

Again, after my fifth trip to Lima, I finally made to the place. I went on a Friday night, and yes, the place was packed. But, there were still plenty of chicas available. Cover was 38 soles and my pisco sour was 40 soles. Chicas were 80 soles for 25 minutes, at least mine was.

Two story place with strip shows on both floors. Unlike El Trocadero, the place was very clean and quite impressive to boot.

Once again, if you are in this hobby, the place is a must see!

La Nenne:

Demolished; now just a parking lot for one of the clubs.

Tequila Rocks:

Went there on Friday around midnight. Cover was 50 fucking soles, included one drink. When I was having my tasty beverage, I counted 5, yes, 5 chicas in the place. Left there and went over to Sabor Peruano, there were over 30 chicas in the place. My guess is people are tired of paying that damn cover charge at Tequila Rocks!

Sabor Peruano:

As I reported before, I pulled 4 different chicas out of Sabor Peruano and 3 out of the 4, I sent packing. They all insisted that is why way it is in Lima, but I know fucking better. It seems there is a damn union in the club.

Having said that, the place always has a butt-load of women, usually midnight, except for Sunday nights. The majority of them were asking for 300 soles. I enjoy the music and watching the hotties dance around.

Canadian Café Bar:

Refer to my previous report posted on 8/2/18.

The Old Pub:

The place was a hit or miss on a nightly basis. Some nights there were 1-2, while other nights, 3-4, and some nights, ZERO.

Chicas de Venezuela:

I first heard they were working Kennedy Park on the weekends. I searched both weekends, but no luck. The best lead that I got was from a couple of other students in the school I was attending.

Apparently, there is a good amount working upstairs, the second floor, in McDonald's in Lince. The cross roads are Calle Risso and Av. Arequipa. I did not get a chance to get out there to check the place out myself. Hopefully someone on this board can confirm the information.

Street chicas:

They were out and available. I pulled two off the street on different nights. Both were 100 soles each.

LatinAmericanCupid:

I had three blind dates, two were good, and the one other sucked.

Tinder:

Finally, after trying in several countries, I got a date. She was from Venezuela and half my age and twice as fun. Yep, she was a bit chunkier than her pictures, but she was a blast nevertheless.

Tidbit:

I used Uber to go everywhere. They were very cheap and safe. I noticed this year that regular taxis jumped on the Uber bandwagon. On several occasions while waiting for my Uber to arrive, a regular taxi showed up, they knew my name, and their plates matched. It's a smart move on their part to say the least.

Final thoughts:

For the reasons above, the great food, and my favorite Spanish school; those are the reasons I keep returning to Lima.

And of course; just my two lousy soles.

I recently returned home from a short trip to Peru- from Lima south to Ica, Nazca, and Paracas, and north to Trujillo and Chiclayo. Prior to flying to Peru I contacted Miss J, one of Jockey's friends with that I had met a couple of months ago -- she agreed to accompany me south for four days. She met me at the Lima airport upon arrival and we spent the night at a nearby hotel. One was, so Jockey put me in contact with Miss D- a very sweet and very attractive 20 year old from Trujillo. We were able to meet at my hotel twice- both times she indicated what time she would be joining me, and both times she ended up being more than an hour late (with constant updates via WhatsApp regarding her arrival time). Both times we started with drinks and casual conversation (always in Spanish- she speaks no English) before heading to bed. In contrast to Miss J, who likes sessions with the lights out, Miss D had no problems with bright lights (much better for photos! And she has a very nice body (small tits, but nice and pointy and very sensitive). I have traveled to several countries. I went to some of them with Airbnb and have never had any problems in taking the girls to my house. Having said that, I always try to rent an entire apartment for myself or, if that's not the case, talk about it with the landlord. As a general rule, they have no problems whatsoever. In fact, some of them even get livened up, so I think you won't have any problems there. However, it is always nice to talk it out in advance to avoid any misunderstandings.

[/QUOTE]Thanks for all the info. Very helpful. My impression of the Trocadero was similar, except I found the only taxi driver who didn't know it (and from a launch point in Callao). Prices were low but nothing else met my standards (and I've been to locals-oriented run-down places in Thailand and Cambodia). It'd be a great soak-up-the-atmosphere experience for a descriptive writer except that the counterpart in Iquitos is even more so.

I learned to avoid Las Cucardas on Friday and to favor 6:30-ish weekdays. The city really needs several branches of the place to meet the demand, but I know it's a fight just to keep the one open.

Sounds like the other venues were problematic. I've never stayed long enough to put the CupidMedia sites into action (have done so in the Philippines), but I guess it's possible.
