' Time was when price was never discussed and the WG was happy with $10-$15 plus, possibly breakfast in the morning or $5 for a taxi (knowing full well she would take the bus for 50 cents)

But you echo my approach,"I have $15 to spend." I have never had a counter offer of over $35 and usually in the $25-$30 range with $20-$25 being the closing price.

To blow some more holes in the horse shit, many Cambodian people view Thai people in a positive light, and though anti-Cambodian prejudice definitely exists in Thailand it's nothing like, say, the racism against Haitians in the Dominican Republic or Central Americans in America. I have plenty of Thai friends who have nothing bad to say about Cambodians at all (more than once I've heard "they have big breasts!").

its more than a tourist effect. its also cultural and national pride. living in thailand and having mongered in pp for 15 years, i am well aware.

My wing man did it 2-3 times last May from the same bar and identical prices. All times with the same girls because he liked their performance a lot. 1. The value of any post to all punters lies in having the detail. The address of any recommended place should always be given plus directions if helpful; and

2. There are a lot of one-liner comments lacking substance. Of course details of fun bar names would be useful, particularly as I will be in PP next month.
