Yes what you say has a fair element of truth in terms of the risk. It probably comes down to dosage and frequency of consumption.
I have lived here now for 8 years and for 7 of those years I use the same supplier as do some of my associates without any problems. So I pay a little more for "generic's" but I get reliability of supply and dropped off to where ever I want it. I would certainly hesitate to pop into any Toko Obat Perkasa or buy them from the street guys outside Lokasari Plaza and the likes even though they well come from the same place.
I am comfortable with what I get and the associated risk.
