But we go to Pattaya, because its Pattaya. Theres all kind of things you can do that dont involve mongering: festivals, restaurants, shops, boats, zoos, water parks, movies, etc. Trust me, I looked and traveled very hard to find another pattaya and I failed. There is only one Pattaya, and its not even close to being as good as it was 15+ years ago, but it still beats all the other options.

Pattaya has mongering, affordability, safety, beach life, and tourist destination in 1 complete package. Thats why I still go. Brazil, DR, Philippines, Colombia, Germany FKK, Dubai, etc. can’t deliver that.

Shit Hole? All the things being said is true and I've not been to any of the places so many of you mongers have traveled.

I agree of this definition explain years ago comfirm through my own experience of living here and seeing how things are constructed.

In spite of the many fancy building, food, it is a shitholes depends. I wonder at times with all the big hotels, condo, has it change? Cause I've never seen a waste treatment facilities large or situated in Pattaya to deal? There is one not far from my house at least that is what the sign indicate but there doesn't seem to be any life inside.

So that being said every building has a septic cement tank out of _sight out of mind but it is there. Since the seams arent sealed they all leak reason for the smell.

Go up to Dophin circle that 5 plus Star hotel was known for dumping into the ocean, go down to Beirgarden entrance when it rains hard there is a huge drain watch the stuff coming out.

Ever see any tourist swimming on Pattaya beach even Jomtien. I use to take my family down to Bang Saray, put your face in the water you see clear the fish not today after a storm trash on top of trash. All City official know what I'm talking about to make sure tourist see as little as possible to their so call world class city clean up is sent out as soon as rain stop.

There are reason this country has defermation laws in place. They even got their media trained to not do follow up on investigation cause it all hurts their reputation.

Darkside is no different tough situation workers dig surprise they find things cause it isn't like the west they need to have blueprint request permit authorization that isn't happening here. With rainy season here flooding if you have cuts wound make sure after shower with soap put Neoparin cream over them. There is a reason why Thai don't like you to point your feet at them LOL.

In spite of all the negatives it can be worse the pussy first and foremost makes it all worth while LOL. Land of Smiles right!

I'd still happily be going to Japan, Switzerland, Netherlands, Budapest, and Vegas.

I thought I add some content here about prices. It was not long ago that 1000 baht was the norm on soi 6. Lets take 2017 and look at the thai CPI.

In 2017 January it was 98.15. In January 2024 its is 106.98. 107/98= 1. 09. So in generall almost a 10% price increase. In the same time the prices on soi 6 has increased with 100 %. But that is for tourists. Not for locals. It used to be cheaper in Pattaya but then they got more and more into the thing of having higher prices for tourists. So don't give me any of this bullshit about "don't expect to pay same as locals blah blah blah".

I add some pictures here to show what thais are paying for the same thing. I found them today.

2. If yes? Do you speak Thai? Have you had good success?

As I have used these sideline websites, I can tell you this. If you think it's so easy for a foreigner, especially one on vacation who does not speak any Thai, has a big dick, or comes from a background that its unfairly stereo typed as a bad customer for Thai working girls, you are sadly mistaken that foreigners should have an easy time at paying the same as locals do. It is a different market and different ladies and customer all together.

I for one speak Thai, I don't have a big dick, and my background is not of a nationality that is unfairly stereotyped as a bad customer and I still need to spend at least 2 hours to get a meeting from one of these local sideline websites. Do you think the guys on vacation in Pattaya want to waste their precious vacation time dealing with drama from dick scared racist Thai ladies that can't speak even one word of English? No! They will go to Soi 6, beach road, or walking street because it's easy for them and that's what they have been exposed to online and on You Tube and so on.

As much as I give you credit for this post, it's not new info. Another punter did the same thing a page back if you read. Most punters in Pattaya on holiday will have no use for this info. On the other hand an expat may want to take a shot and that's me. I have the time as I live here. Alas, most don't.

Your post would make a lot more sense if it was not in the Pattaya section. If it was in another section like Bangkok, Isaan or the South it would make more sense. IMHO

Out of these 5 pictures posted only one says she is based in Pattaya anyway, the one at 600 baht for 30 minutes and it's quite obvious she used the photoshop app at full scale.

Every others are based in Chonburi or Bang Saen except the one with "OMG" on her face which is in every single location in Thailand (typical ad from an agency trying to pimp their girls).
