If you watched the whole video, you would see that all Thai girls who earn a similar Baht actually experience more inflation than what your numbers reflect. Your issue is you seem to think this is an isolated incident and this girl in the video is just a one off example that is not the norm. You as the punter choose to go where you want to go and spend what you want to spend. So, while you complain about the tourist trap and raising prices that are not justified because the amount of inflation is not matching the price increases, we expats are going to venues where the prices are actually not so high. Your problem is you want to go to a walking street go go bar and play with the big boys, but you don't want to spend the money or you can't and that makes you angry and that's why you complain about prices.

Look at Explorer. He is a guy that has money. He chooses not to go to these areas. Instead, he goes to other areas and sees other girls that don't work in the walking street bars. Do the same. use Thai Friendly. Meet freelancers in bars and clubs. Go to beer bars. Go to Gents clubs. The point is that if you want to find that 1000 Baht ST, you can easily find it. Guess what else he does, he actually meets up with the girls working on walking street after they finish work and fucks them for less than half the price. Instead of complaining, do the same. Sub does a lot of these same strategies as well. Don't blame the tourist trap, blame yourself. You want to play with the big boys, but you don't want to spend the money. Then there are the the guys that can't afford to come this year. The US punters who are worried about their cash flow and the results of the election next month. My prediction for Pattaya is that the place is rammed right now with girls and there are still not enough punters to go around.
