They have already shot dead someone they claim was a suspect, but he was a licensed street vendor for the Malecon. Possibly guilty, but seems an unlikely suspect as his face would be known to everyone in the area. Maybe he was just unluckily in CCTV picture at the time.
Unusual case, because no-one has yet accused a Haitian.
Can one having a valid US VISA travel to DR without applying for a VISA from DR Embassy. I have heard that People with Valid US VISA can enter DR for tourism.
Don't know whether it is true. By the way I am an Indian and was thinking of visiting DR once for the European beauties. I had been to Thailand but I prefer blondes / Europeans than asians.

My advice would be to check if the Dominican Republic has an embassy or consulate in your country or a web site for visa requirements.
But when it comes to the type of women you prefer you will be sadly disappointed if you visit with your current preferences. Take a moment and glance through the photos the brothers post in the Sosua section and see if you like them. Yes the women here are young, beautiful and willing (if you give up the pesos). Got to be down with the brown if you want to enjoy yourself. Of course I've heard that Santiago is whiter than most cities here in the DR. Never been there to hunt to confirm it for myself.

But most nationalities can enter the DR without visas. You just buy a tourist card on arrival. US $10.
If you like blondes, the DR is definitely the wrong country to visit. Genuine blondes are extremely rare, and those that are there rarely enter the profession as they are prized by affluent locals. I would suggest Ukraine. With the state of their economy and currency, working girls must be good value there these days.
