These days there are some NGO's constantly on the lookout for foreigners with young looking girls or boys with them, as part of the drive to get rid of child sex tourists. If you are seen in a tuk tuk, or entering a hotel, with a very young girl there is a small chance you will be followed and reported to the police. Some hotel staff may report you as well.

I got your point. Usually, I stay away from very young girls as I know some of my friends who got in into problems earlier.
What I was referring to was about taking multiple girls to the room. The hotel where I stay they are least bothered about the number of girls you take to your room.

Is the Cardamom hotel girl friendly? Well, it is & it isn't. On the one hand, guests are welcome as long as you sign a document stating that you are responsible for any damage caused by the girl. On the other hand, they have a Child Safe policy, and require the girls to leave their ID at reception. The problem is that many PP girls either don't have an ID or don't carry their ID. Last night, my 22 yo cutie was refused entry because she didn't bring her ID. Needless to say, I was pissed off!
In short, avoid the Cardamom!

Loso[/QUOTE]Thanks for posting that info. I always ask the hotel about their guest policy before I book a room. In this case it wouldn't have done any good. The fact that many of the ladies there don't have and or don't carry ID scares me. I am planning a trip there during my next Thai trip. It would have to be very obvious beyond any doubt that the lady was over 18 before I would even think of taking her without ID. My understanding is that they count their birthdays different. If she says she is 20, she is actually 19. I think I read that on another forum by guys who live there.
Few PP hotels require girls to show their ID, which explains why many PP girls can't be bothered to carry their ID, even if they have one.
A girl's age is solely determined by the year, not by the precise date. It's as if everyone was born on Jan 1. LOL If a girl was born in 1991, she'll say her age is 21. If she was born before Oct 3 (today) , she really is 21. If she was born after Oct 3, she's actually only 20 according to Western rules.
BTW, the DOB on Cambodian IDs is in Khmer script, so unless you can read Khmer, seeing her ID won't help you to determine her age!
Yesterday's girl had to borrow her friend's ID to get into the Cardamom. At least, I got to bang her bones. Will be changing hotels tomorrow!
