Yes I am nave in the sense that I am not aware of exactly how often one would likely catch an STD. Simply because I have not been risking it in general. If a girl offers BB too easily, I would not want to take her up on it most likely. I did state the case of the buddy that caught one in his first few days in Thailand. That was good enough evidence of risk for me. Obviously if the both the girl and the guy are somewhat exclusive in who they BB, and both get tested regularly as well, the risk is massively diminished. I took more than one long term test for HSV-1 and 2 and got failed to get a conclusive result. One test positive and another test by Red Cross negative. So who knows? HPV (papilloma virus is extremely common). I thought everyone had warts or papilomas somewhere at some time. So not really one to be too worried about (unless you are a young girl and happen to get the uterine cancer risk strain).

Having had 1000s of BBBJs, one would expect to have caught a HSV virus at some point even if type 1 (cold sores) is far more likely, yet I still don't know for sure if ever caught it.

A large percentage of people with chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes or HPV are asymptomatic or don't notice the symptoms. I suspect many who had chlamydia or gonorrhea were subsequently cleared of it when they took antibiotics for other conditions. HPV is hard to diagnose in men. A physician has to identify some kind of a spot on the penis that he thinks may be HPV, then biopsy it and then send it in to a lab for testing. Many or most physicians don't routinely test for herpes, since a large percentage of the population has it and you can't cure it.

Also, there are the lucky few who have great immune systems and were wise enough to get a vasectomy. I wish I were one of them.

But only with girls and bars I regularly see. Last year I didn't pay the barfine in Billboard, but my girl gently reminded me next time I saw her, because she told me she had to pay it for me. Don't know if that is true, but I gave it back to her anyway. For good karma and for trust with the girl.

I also received a"I think maybe you forget something" Line message in the morning when forgetting the ST fee. I always paid it back and the lady is always happy to see me again, despite being so forgetful.
