He posted he had a beer and ordered 5 lady drinks. To get to 1250 total including bar fine of minimum 700 baht, the 6 drinks would have to cost 550 baht total, which seems highly unlikely. At a minimum of 100 for the beer and 150 each the lady drinks, which is still below standard pricing, that is 850 baht. A 700 baht bar fine would bring the bill to 1550 baht, not 1250.

As an aside, the condom protects only the area it covers, but there's a fair bit of area it doesn't. That area is a vector for stuff like HPV or HSV II, and there's not much you can do to avoid it, except maybe wash up immediately afterwards.

Any activity carries some degree of risk. You could die or get seriously injured in a car / taxi accident, just as you can contract an STD. The problem for us serious mongers (especially resident expats) is that we're like truckers or cabbies in terms of miles driven, but often without being correspondingly more careful or skilled at avoiding risk.

But since everyone seems to be caught up on the money details, here is a summary, just so everyone is clear.

Night 1 - girl from Baccara. Had high hopes for her, but she was terrible. I had 1 Singh to drink. Bought her a few lady drinks and asked to bar fine her. Waitress gave me a bill of about 1,500 baht that I paid with a 1,000 note and a 500 note. Girl asked for either ST of 3,000 or LT of 6,000 - but her LT was for only 4 hours! Not much of a LT in my book. Paid her 3,000 at Baccara for ST. It was a terrible experience, as I previously posted in my lengthy report on the night. She even tried to upsell me, while we were in my room at the Pullman to go LT (for only 3 more hours, for an additional 3,000 baht). But I was thinking. This is a crummy experience. Why should I give more money for additional time when the ST so far has been terrible. Definitely my worst experience in Thailand (from my 2008 phuket and Bangkok mongering, and now my 2018 Phuket and Bangkok mongering).

So, total cost for Baccara ST gal: 4,500 baht.
Again, this session was terrible - wish I could remember her name or number, so folks don't waste their time, or money, on her.

Night 2 - gal named Pap from other gogo bar, who gave me the best session I have ever had in Thailand. Waitress said this was only her 3rd day there.

I had 1 Singh beer. I bought Pap 3 lady drinks (at least this is what I recall) I also bought the waitress 2 lady drinks. I told the waitress I would bar fine Pap. (This was after the waitress found out for me that Pap would go with me if I paid Pap 1,000 baht and if I got Pap 2 more lady drinks. I had already bought Pap 1 lady drink, so that is why I believe I bought Pap a total of 3 lady drinks, plus the 2 lady drinks for the waitress -1st one soon after I started talking to her, and the 2nd for the waitress when she returned with the price info on Pap. I agreed to all of this: 2 more lady drinks for Pap, plus 1 000 baht, which I assumed would be ST. When I was ready to leave with Pap, after having only 1 beer, and declining a 2nd Singha, the waitress gave me a bill of 1,250 baht. I paid it with a 1,000 note and a 500 note. As I reported, waitress tried to get me to let her keep the change. I played dumb. Waitress returned with my 250 baht change and I gave her 50 baht tip. So total cost paid to waitress was 1,300 baht.

At the bar, while the waitress was getting my change, I rolled a 1,000 baht note up and put it in Pap's halter top, between her lovely little breasts. So I gave Pap the 1,000 baht she had asked for. Pap then went an changed into a pair of short shorts and a small shirt. We then walked back to my deluxe room at the Pullman.

So total cost that night for a 2 pop ST was 2,300 baht. Was probably with her for 90 minutes or so, just a guess.

As I said before, best session I have had in a long, long time. And I do not think I will ever be able to come close to that level ever again. I noted in my report that I even considered postponing my flight home the next day so that I could be with her again, for another night. But decided against it, something I am still thinking about even now. I also think about Pap a lot. She struck me as very sweet and naive. Certainly believe what the waitress said about this being only her 3rd day. I have no way of contacting her, other than to return to Bangkok and return to which ever gogo bar she was working at. I know I wanted to hit Cowboy 2 and Dollhouse, so it is likely either of those two. I do recall one specific detail of the club that experienced BKK mongers could use to determine the exact bar.

In all honesty, I do feel sorry for Pap. She struck me as such a sweet naive gal and so fun. But I can just see her in 2-3 years, after having been with hundreds of guys, turning into a jaded bar hag. And that makes me feel sad for her.

On a different note, and maybe part of the reason why I have been able to have a lot of really good mongering experiences (along with the occasional dud), please make sure you read, and follow BKK Dog's excellent tips from his Nov 24 post. I cannot second his suggestions enough. I have tried to follow those rules myself, and like to think some of my good results are due to those types of suggested guidelines while mongering.

This is not possible on Soi Cowboy, especially at Cowboy 2 and Dollhouse. Since there is no way that the bar would let someone who they have never seen before take a girl out without paying the bar fine, the only explanation is that the waitress did not charge you for some lady drinks, presumably hers, which is perhaps why she wanted to keep the 250 baht change, which is more than she would have gotten from her share of two lady drinks. Why she would do this for someone she did not know is perplexing unless you're one smooth dude, in which case, good on you.
